NOPE, DO NOT LOSE IT

2/13/2026

“Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction.”(Proverbs 29:18)

Many destructive decisions are born from disappointments and offenses that were never addressed with faith. Frustration grows where revelation is absent. When people lose sight of God’s truth, they begin to act out of emotion rather than conviction.

Jesus prepared us for this reality. In John 16:33 He said, “In the world you will have tribulation… but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” Trials and frustrations will come—but they are not meant to dominate you. The moment you look away from God’s Word, discouragement gains ground. The moment you anchor yourself in it, peace is restored.

Everything you do must be rooted in the Word. As a husband or wife, parent, pastor, or volunteer, let your inspiration come from obedience to Christ—not from how appreciated you feel. If your motivation depends on applause, you will eventually burn out. But if it is rooted in God’s instruction, you will remain steady. Psalm 25:3 assures us that those who trust in the Lord will not be disappointed.

Proverbs 29:18 reminds us that where there is no revelation, people lose restraint. Revelation—God’s Word—keeps you focused, disciplined, and inspired. When you feel like giving up, speak faith-filled words. Speak life over your marriage. Speak grace over your assignment. Speak peace over your mind. The more you speak the Word, the stronger your inspiration becomes.

Do not abandon what God has placed in your heart because of a difficult season. If things seem unclear, pause and seek the Lord before making drastic decisions. Your best days are still ahead. Refuse to let temporary emotions sabotage permanent blessings.

Stay in love. Be patient. Be quick to forgive. Guard your inspiration—because your inspiration is your strength.

Faith-Filled Confession:

God’s Word is my inspiration and motivation. I refuse discouragement, bitterness, and frustration. I walk in love and remain rooted in revelation. My faith works effectively, and my best days are ahead, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
