MY MOUTH IS FILLED WITH PRAISE

"Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together." — Psalm 34:3

One of the greatest indicators of what fills your heart is what comes out of your mouth. Jesus said,"Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks"(Matthew 12:34). If your heart is filled with fear, your words will reflect fear. If it is filled with faith, your words will release faith. If it is filled with gratitude, praise will naturally flow from your lips.

As believers, our mouths were never designed to magnify our problems rather it was designed to magnify our God. The world has enough voices spreading fear, negativity, and hopelessness. God is looking for men and women whose mouths are filled with praise, thanksgiving, and faith-filled declarations.

When Paul and Silas were imprisoned, they didn't spend the night complaining about injustice. At midnight they prayed and sang praises to God. Their worship changed the atmosphere, broke their chains, and opened the prison doors. Their praise declared that God was greater than their circumstances.

Likewise, on the Day of Pentecost, the crowd declared, "We hear them declaring the wonderful works of God" (Acts 2:11). The early believers were known for proclaiming God's greatness, not rehearsing their fears. Their mouths testified of His mighty acts, and their words pointed people to Christ.

Child of God, let your mouth become an instrument of God's glory. Speak His Word over your family. Declare His faithfulness over your future. Give thanks before the answer arrives. Praise Him in the valley as confidently as you would on the mountaintop.

Remember, praise is not just a response to victory—it is a declaration of faith before the victory is seen. Thanksgiving shifts your focus from what is lacking to the God who lacks nothing.

Today, choose your words carefully. Let your speech reflect heaven's perspective. Refuse to complain, murmur, or speak defeat. Instead, fill your mouth with praise, thanksgiving, and the Word of God.

As you magnify the Lord, your faith will rise, your peace will increase, and others will be drawn to the God who has been so faithful to you.

May those who hear you say, "We heard them declare the wonderful works of God."

Faith-Filled Confession

My mouth is filled with praise, thanksgiving, and faith-filled words. I declare the wonderful works of God everywhere I go. I speak life, hope, and victory because the Lord has been good to me. I refuse to magnify my circumstances; I magnify my God. His faithfulness is my testimony, His Word is my confidence, and His praise shall continually be in my mouth. Through my worship and my words, Jesus is glorified and lives are transformed. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
