MY BODY IS A MEMBER OF CHRIST

07/14/2023

"Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not!" (1 Corinthians 6:15)

Today's theme scripture provides great revelation about your physical body. The Bible says your body, with all its appendages, organs, and systems, is a member of Christ. So, look at your body for a second, touch it, and tell it what the Bible says: "You are a member of Christ!"

Saint, your body is an emblem of Heaven on earth. It is a physical representation of Christ's eternal victory and conquest over hell and all the elements of the earth. Jesus said in John 16:33 (AMP), "I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world, you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world." [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]" The same verse in the Amplified Classic translation reads: "I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world, you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]!  For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]"

Again, your body is a symbol of Christ's victory over sickness, sin, and every contrary entity. Your body is also a storage chest for God's power. Anything or person that makes contact with your body (virtual or physical) makes contact with Christ's victory and power.

And in the Bible, something magnificent happened whenever people made contact with Jesus Christ. Luke 7:14-15 exemplifies what contact with a member of Christ can produce. Jesus was passing through Nain, and a widow had just lost her only son. The Bible says, Then He [Jesus] came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, "Young man, I say to you, arise." So he who was dead, sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother."

Today, you are Christ's physical presence on earth. However, if you don't proclaim it, you will never see the glory of God that your body is. Your body is a member of Christ! This means that people ought to see you and repent. (Speaking in tongues Lazugoki Pasukukia) Demons ought to hear you and check out of their spaces. But to unleash the power of this mystery, you must treat your faith as a seed.

Sow this seed by proclaiming that your body is a member of Christ. Then water this seed with your continued proclamation until it germinates and every being (physical and spiritual) recognizes your body as a member of Christ. "So Jesus said to them, "...assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you" (Matthew 17:20).

I see demons checking out of spaces because of those who will take this word and run with it. I see people getting healed, convicted, and converted by the physical presence of those who will take this word today and travel deep into it by the spirit.

"MY BODY IS A MEMBER OF CHRIST!"

My prayer for you today is that this revelation will explode in your heart. Say, "Amen!"

Declare it until you are saturated and begin to see visions and prophesy!

Faith-Filled Confession

My body is a member of Christ. It is the physical representation of the Messiah. People, demons, and landforms defer to the image of the Son of God wherever I am present. Jehovah Shammah!

Prayer Point for Today

Colossians 4:2, "Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving."

Colossians 1:9-12, "For this cause, we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light."

Pray earnestly in tongues of the Spirit for fellow Christians and the Churches of Christ around the world;

  1. That the saints will be steadfast, uncompromising, and fervent in their walk with the Lord

  2. The saints will have an unquenchable hunger for the Lord and a passion for soul-winning.

  3. Be filled with praise and thanksgiving continually.
