MORE THAN YOU CAN IMAGE

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.’ (Ephesians 3:20)

Imagine that you had in your possession an ATM card to an account with a balance you could not quantify in dollars. I know you would have preferred I specify an amount like a million dollars or a billion dollars but the value in this imaginary bank account exceeds all the available currencies in the world. Now, how would you react if a friend approached you for some assistance because she wanted to pay her rent of $1,200?

You would simply send her the money and probably some extra money so that she could handle  some other things.

Now, I said  that to say this, Forbes Magazine may attach certain a net worth to a certain individual but you are worth more than that. Philippians 4:19 describes this bank account that you have in Christ and your access to this balance is your mouth and imagination. And by using the concept of a bank account, I imply dormant ability or power to cause changes. 

Paul the Apostle describes this same idea with the word, sufficiency. He says, 'Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God.' (2 Corinthians 3:5). In other words, we are not enabled by ourselves to consider our limited human resources anything but our  real ability or power is from God. And where does God live? Inside us. Hallelujah!

However, it is not enough to have God living inside you with all of His ability without being able to deploy His ability in everyday life. This is why today's theme scripture says that God 'is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.’ (Ephesians 3:20)

The key to deploying the power that works in us is our mouth and imagination. Brethren, you have got to be lavish with the word of God on your lips and in your imagination to provoke the kind of grace that God has already earmarked us to partake of this year of joy.  God desires that his children talk and think at the level of His incalculable ability. At a level where they realize that nothing is impossible. There's a brother and sister who are going to activate the ability to conceive by just reading this devotional today.  This is the way to move pass limiting situations and break into new levels, no matter the situation.

Hear me, it is time to activate the power. And it would not take time. Grab a chair and start declaring and seeing with your mind's eye  the things you desire to see manifested in your life in a couple of weeks, months and years. It is already done in Jesus name.

Faith-filled Confession

As I demand and imagine my desires in the name of Jesus, my imagination is simultaneously impregnated by the power of the Holy Ghost to see these desires come to pass. There is a performance of everything I ask and imagine and I am animated by the joy of receiving these desires in the name of the Lord Jesus. Amen
