“Now therefore you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.” — Ephesians 2:19
In Christ, your identity has been completely transformed. You are no longer a stranger, an outsider, or someone searching for a place in the kingdom—you belong. God has brought you in and made you part of His family.
This means you are not alone—and you will never be alone. Jesus said, “And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20). God’s presence in your life is not based on your performance; it is rooted in relationship. He is with you because He is your Father.
You are forever connected to a divine household—surrounded by fellow believers and united in purpose. Hebrews 12:22 declares, “You have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem… to an innumerable company of angels in joyful assembly.” Notice the language: it doesn’t say you will come someday—it says you have come. This means you already have access, acceptance, and a place in God’s Kingdom.
However, being a member of God’s household also carries responsibility. We are called to walk in love, live in unity, and honor one another. Just as a healthy family builds each other up, so should we as members of God’s family.
There is security in belonging. You don’t have to strive for identity or approval—God has already given it to you. You are His, and you are part of something eternal.
Today, walk confidently in your identity. You are not a stranger—you are family.
Faith-Filled Confession:
I am no longer a stranger or an outsider. I am a member of God’s household and a citizen of His Kingdom. I belong to God. I walk in love, unity, and divine purpose. I am secure in Him, now and forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
