MAKE THE MOST OF THE PROPHETIC

“Making the very most of your time [on earth, recognizing and taking advantage of each opportunity and using it with wisdom and diligence], because the days are [filled with] evil.” — Ephesians 5:16

Have you ever heard people say, “It was just an accident,” or “He was so lucky,”when someone experiences success or makes significant progress?

Truth be told, there is no such thing as becoming successful by accident or making meaningful progress by accident. Behind every significant result is a decision, an action, a discipline, an instruction obeyed, or an opportunity recognized and seized.

Show me a person who became successful by accident, and I will show you someone who may eventually experience accidental failure.

Success is intentional. Progress is intentional. Destiny is intentional.

Proverbs 22:29 says:

“Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank.”

This Scripture does not describe someone who is merely hoping that things will get better. It does not describe someone who prays without corresponding action. Success is the result of acting upon the proven principles of God's Word.

Just as there are principles that produce success, there are also principles that produce failure.

Proverbs 24:33–34 says:

“A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest—and poverty will come on you like a thief and scarcity like an armed man.”

Simply put, neither success nor failure happens by accident.

Mere hoping and wishing for success without corresponding obedience to God's Word is a recipe for perpetual frustration.

Genesis 8:22 says:

“As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.”

There is a law of seedtime and harvest.

What you sow matters. What you do with what God gives you matters. What you do with your time matters. What you do with divine instructions matters.

If you give nothing, nothing is multiplied back to you. But when you give your life to God, your time to His purpose, your hands to His work, and your obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit, your world will turn around for good.

NOW IS THE TIME TO RESPOND

Today, I want to encourage you to DO SOMETHING about what God has spoken concerning the month of September.

And if you have not yet heard the prophetic word for this month, go back and read the devotional for September 1, 2026. One of the instructions the Holy Spirit gave us was:

“MAKE THE NECESSARY CHANGES NOW.”

Not tomorrow. NOW.

If there are people you need to forgive, forgive quickly. If there are instructions you have delayed obeying, obey quickly. If there are vows that need to be fulfilled, fulfill them quickly. If there are changes you know you need to make, make them now.

Why?

Because there is a grace upon this season that will move with the force of an avalanche—an unstoppable move of the Spirit that will cause everything that once looked big in your eyes to become small.

For some of you, you have prayed for this season for a very long time. You have waited. You have believed. You have cried. You have stood on the Word.

And now the Lord is saying:

“I WILL A NEW AND A BIG THING.”

NOW RESPOND LIKE SOMEONE WHO KNOWS WHERE THEY ARE IN THE CALENDAR OF GOD.

Do not treat this prophetic season casually. Supply the prophetic word with obedience, worship, prayer, giving, service, discipline, and action

Do not procrastinate what you can do today until tomorrow.

There are doors that require a response.

There are opportunities that require movement.

There are instructions that require obedience.

There are relationships that require reconciliation.

There are seeds that must be sown.

This is not the season to sit back and watch.

This is the season to  ACT.

FAITH-FILLED CONFESSION

I am God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for me to do. Therefore, I make the most of my time and every opportunity God places before me. I do today what I can do today. I refuse procrastination, hesitation, and unnecessary delay. I walk in the counsel of the Word and the Spirit. I am sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit and quick to obey His instructions. In Jesus name. Amen
