LOVE IS SOUL WINNING

"But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” (Matthew 15:24)

Winning souls is loving Jesus. Therefore, pay attention to the voice of the Holy Ghost. Because not everyone will respond to you in a manner that is amenable. But if you will listen to the voice of God, you will see the victory of Christ over the lost every time. In essence, your job is to listen to God’s creative ways to reach your sphere of influence and the city at large for Jesus.

Some might says because they had a bad experience trying to win a soul for Christ after listening to the voice of the HolyGhost, that they are not going to involve themselves anymore in soul winning activities. This is exactly why the Bible says, "...do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God" (Romans 12:2). Past experiences may define how the people of the world do things but past experiences should have no bearing upon you and more particularly, your soul winning decisions, only the Holy Spirit and His Word. Jesus said in Matthew 10:14 “But whoever does not receive you, neither listens to your words, when you depart from the house or from the village, shake the sand from your feet.” In other words, don’t take that negative experience to the next assignment. Better still, don’t be discourage by it. Move on like nothing happened.

Child of God. You or heaven are not at a disadvantage when people do not respond to you in a manner that is amenable. If you are rejected by one, then go to the next person. And if that next person rejects your gospel, then move to the next person. Praise God. Make no mistake, the God in you is doing a work in them through your words.

Remember, it takes the Holy Ghost for anyone to confess that Jesus is Lord. 1 Corinthians 12:3 says “Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.” Your job is to be in constant touch with the Holy Spirit. And when the opportunity comes, He will give you words to say. Jesus puts it this way in Mark 13:11, “….don’t worry in advance about what to say. Just say what God tells you at that time, for it is not you who will be speaking, but the Holy Spirit.”

Saints, if you will focus your life on loving Jesus through soulwinning, you will experience tremendous victories in other aspects of your life that often demand your attention. Matthew 6:33 says, "... seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." The kingdom of God is all about soul winning and if your seek that, then God guarantees that every other aspect of your life will be sorted out with tremendous testimony.

Faith-Filled Confession

Soulwinning is love demonstrated to Jesus and my primary assignment on earth. Every other thing is secondary. And as I prioritize soulwinning, success in every other important thing in my life that might have become a distraction to my number one priority, is easily attainable in Jesus' name. Amen
