LIVING IN THE VICTORY OF CHRIST

“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.” — 1 John 5:4 (NKJV)

The Christian who is a new creation is a victor by default.

Webster defines avictoras “a person who defeats an enemy or opponent in a battle, game, or other competition.”

As one born of God, you have victory over the world, the flesh, and the forces of darkness. One of the greatest truths of the new covenant is that when you came to Christ, you didn’t just receive forgiveness—you received His victory. Christ’s victory became your victory!

When the Lord Jesus appeared to His disciples after His resurrection, He greeted them saying,“All hail!”(Matthew 28:9). That was a shout of triumph — a victorious declaration that the battle was over and the enemy was defeated!

The Bible says in 1 John 3:8, “For this purpose was the Son of God manifested, that He might destroy (shatter, paralyze) the works of the devil.”

Jesus has already done it! The enemy has been defeated and his works have been rendered powerless. He’s not trying to make us victorious today; we are already victors in Him. We’re not trying to conquer — we are more than conquerors.

Imagine a sportsman who wins a gold medal. He lifts his trophy in celebration, and everyone rejoices. Later, he receives the prize money — millions of dollars credited to his account. From then on, he’s not celebrating his win anymore — he’s living in the benefits of his victory.

That’s exactly how it is with us in Christ. We’re not trying to defeat the devil, fear, sickness, or failure. We’ve already won! The victory was declared the moment Jesus triumphed over the enemy in hell. When you discovered your identity in Christ, you joined that victory parade.

Now, you’re living in the victory of Christ— walking in divine health, peace, success, and dominion every single day.

Hallelujah!

Faith Declaration:

I live in the victory of Christ!

The enemy is defeated, his works are paralyzed, and his schemes are powerless against me.

I’m not trying to win; I’ve already won in Christ Jesus.

I walk in dominion, authority, and triumph every day.

Victory is my identity, my lifestyle, and my reality — in Jesus’ Name!

Prayer Point

Matthew 9:38

Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

We pray that more labourers be added to the churches of Jesus Christ in our city, that the Gospel may spread even further in our cities.

Jeremiah 1:10 – See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

Pray and declare that more and more of our brethren are granted supernatural opportunities and access in governance, business etc., and they are coming into positions of authority and decision making in their professions and cities.

Colossians 4:3 – Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ…

Pray for open and effectual doors to preach and teach the gospel in our city to thousands is open to us; we declare that our songs are on the lips of everyone in this region and that the influence of our sound will continue to grow and dominate religion and all forms of evil.
