LET GOD WORK HIS WILL IN YOU

“So let God work His will in you. Yell a loud no to the Devil and watch him scamper” (James 4:7 MSG).
Nothing about your life takes God by surprise. Before you were born, He carefully prearranged a life of victory and goodness for you to walk in. Ephesians 2:10 (AMP) says, “For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus… that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand)… living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live.”This means that the good life is already yours—so never settle for anything less.
Fear, unforgiveness, insecurity, and malice are all inconsistent with the life of light you’ve been called to live. Someone once asked how long they should put up with insults before proving they weren’t weak. Jesus answered that question when He told Peter, “seventy times seven.” In other words, don’t let the darkness around you change the character of God’s light within you.
God’s plan for you is not only good, it is eternal. James 1:17 reminds us that “every good and perfect gift is from above… and [He] does not change like shifting shadows.”His plan isn’t altered by times, seasons, or even your mistakes. He chose to bless you long before you knew Him—not because of your works, but because of His unchanging love.
But for His plan to manifest in your daily life, you must give His Word first place. Colossians 3:16 says, “Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom…”That requires intentional focus and obedience to the Word. Jesus declared, “Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” To live the good life God prearranged, you must live in His Word. As you do, the Spirit of God will work His will in you, making you a wonder to your world.
My prayer for you today is that you yield fully to the Holy Spirit and diligently feed on God’s Word, so that His will and goodness overflow in every part of your life.
God bless you!
Faith-Filled Confession:
I am God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works. I walk in the path He prepared for me and enjoy the good life He prearranged. Today, I allow the Word of God to dwell richly in my heart, my thoughts, and my words. I live in victory and manifest His will in Jesus’ name. Amen.
