LEARN TO TAKE THE ATTENTION AWAY FROM YOURSELF

"A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed" (Proverbs 11:25)

Someone once said, and I could not have agreed more, that you "make happen for others whatever you desire from God." In other words, the best way to gain Heaven's attention and walk in your victory is to give your attention to helping others walk in victory. Here's an example. Some time ago, I had a situation that needed my attention. Just as I was about to pray for it, I suddenly realized that someone somewhere was dealing with the same situation. So, instead of praying for myself, I started praying for this person. I didn't know this person, but I had an intuition in my spirit to pray for someone dealing with the same issue that was in front of me. And the more I prayed, the less concerned I was about my situation. Eventually, I had a miracle without mentioning it to God.  I have lived by this principle for many years, and I can tell you this—it works all the time. 

You may be dealing with a unique challenge right now, but know this, you are not alone. Several others are dealing with the same challenge that you are facing. It may even surprise you to know that someone within your sphere of influence is dealing with the same issue. 1 Corinthians 10:13 says, "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to ma: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." Here is the victory story: Ever before you were faced with the challenge, God already prepared a win for you. But you will have to take your eyes away from yourself and that situation and focus it on helping and praying for others in the same or similar situation. Then, you will see the answer that you so desire.

Proverbs 11:25 says, "…whoever refreshes others will be refreshed." My question for you today is this, who do you plan on refreshing today? Who will be glad that they met you today? Remember this, make happen for others what you desire from God. It's the surest way to walk in victory every day.
