KEEP TRUSTING GOD
9/16/2026
"Be anxious for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." — Philippians 4:6
Certain things in life may not always go according to plan. There are times when everything seems to be going well, and suddenly, circumstances change. What was once peaceful becomes challenging, and you may find yourself wondering what happened. If you are in such a season today, remember this:You can trust God with everything.
No matter how things look or feel, don't allow temporary circumstances to dictate your confidence in God and how your see yourself. Look away from what is happening around you and look to the unchanging reality of His Word. Trusting God does not make you a victim; trusting God puts you in the place of victory.
Seasons change. Circumstances change. People change. But God does not change. Malachi 3:6 says, “For I am the Lord, I change not.” Therefore, your confidence should never be based on what you see happening around you. Your confidence must be rooted in the character and integrity of God's Word.
Perhaps you have prayed about a situation and nothing seems to have changed. Don't let that make you question whether God heard you. The evidence that God heard your prayer is not what you see or feel; it is what He has said.
First John 5:14–15 says, “And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He heareth us: And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.”
Did you notice that? Our confidence is based on knowing that God hears us—not on seeing an immediate change in our circumstances. Once you have prayed according to His will, settle it in your heart that God has heard you. Don't allow what you see afterward to cancel what you have already believed.
Philippians 4:6 says, “Be anxious for nothing.” Instead, pray about everything with thanksgiving. Prayer is your response to pressure, and thanksgiving is your expression of confidence in God. When you have prayed, don't return to worry. Leave the matter with God.
Child of God, don't internalize the situation; internalize the Word. Don't let the problem become the picture you carry in your heart. Let God's Word become your reality.
So cheer up! Keep your heart fixed on the Lord.
All things are working together for your good.
You are blessed.
Faith-Filled Confession
I refuse to be anxious about anything. I trust God completely and refuse to be moved by what I see or feel. I pray about everything with thanksgiving, knowing that my God hears me and answers me according to His Word. I internalize God's Word and not my circumstances. I remain steadfast, joyful, and confident because God's Word is working in my life. All things are working together for my good. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
