JUST YIELD

“Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey” (Romans 6:16).
The Word of God only produces results in the life of the believer who yields to it. Resistance—often rooted in fear, pride, or familiarity—keeps many from experiencing the full benefit of the God-life. Healing, growth, and transformation begin the moment we stop resisting and start yielding.
Yielding is more than believing, quoting, or even preaching the Word. Yielding is allowing the Word to take dominion over your thoughts, speech, and actions. The true evidence of yielding is obedience. Whatever you yield yourself to becomes your lord.
Jesus said, “If ye love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15). Love for God is proven, not by words, but by submission to His will. When the Word rules, the flesh loses its voice and the Spirit leads.
Therefore, refuse every excuse. Yield to the Word in every area of life—your marriage, home, finances, service, and daily conduct. When you yield, grace flows, strength is supplied, and the life of God is manifested.
Just yield
Faith-Filled Confession
I yield my thoughts, words, and actions to the Holy Spirit. Because I am led by the Spirit of God, I do not stumble. I am strengthened daily by the Word and the Spirit. Amen.
