“A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.” (Galatians 5:9)
There's no one who has ever attempted to outsmart the wisdom of God that has turned out to be a success. So, when the Spirit of God says something to you, do not try to talk yourself out of it. It would be of no benefit to you. On the contrary, it pays to listen and to do what the Spirit has prompted you to do, even when it does not make any immediate sense.
For example, the Lord specifically, has instructed that we should not allow any feeling of bitterness, offense, or unforgiveness to get in the way of what He is doing. And if you think that you have a legitimate reason to walk in anger, you would be mistaken. Listen to me child of God; your destiny is on the altar, and you cannot allow what someone said or did to you to derail you from fulfilling your mandate. Look at Jesus for example; in Hebrews 12:2, the Bible says, “…who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.” In other words, His destiny was too compelling that it became impossible for Him for to succumb to what was said or done to Him. In the midst of all the mistreatment by those for whom He layed His life, He said, "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do." Yet, too many times, we see precious destinies come to nought because people allowed themselves to get trapped in the nothingness of offense and pride.
Child of God, there is so much in store for your destiny. So, do not allow the opinions of others to derail you. Do not allow the behaviors of others to hinder your progress in life. If you do not checkmate those thoughts of anger, sooner than later, you will begin to talk and manifest the fruits of bitterness. James 1:13-15 says, “When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when by his own evil desires he is lured away and enticed. Then after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is fully grown, it gives birth to death.”
Saints, do not allow any thought that is contrary to the Word of God go by without being countered by your faith-filled confession. You must checkmate every picture of the mind that contradicts the Word. You must constantly feed on God’s Word because your spiritual sensitivity is connected to what you feed on. This is what allows you to stay aglow and have an adventurous walk with the Lord. God is saying to you today, “A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump” (Galatians 5:9). So, deal decisively with those negative thoughts of rejection and abuse. Use the Word to choke every seed of offense, anger, and bitterness. Declare out loud that you are righteous; therefore, bitterness, anger, fear, and failure have no dominion over your mind or spirit.
Remember what Jesus said in Matthew 25:40, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of Mine, you did for Me." So do not make it personal when others treat you wrongly. Let God handle every situation. You, just keep plowing your destiny in God.
God bless you.
Faith-Filled Confession:
I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Therefore, I yield my emotions to God to be used as tools of worship and praise. I pull down every imagination that contradicts the Word of God and I bring it to obedience in Christ.
