“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations.”
—James 1:2 (KJV)
Why would God tell us to rejoice when challenges come from every side? It’s because He knowsvictory is already in your spirit! The moment you were born again, you became anovercomer—more than a conqueror through Christ. That means no situation you face has the power to overwhelm you.
God knows the quality of your spirit; He knows the divine material you’re made of. That’s why He said: “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
—1 Corinthians 10:13 (KJV)
You already have what it takes to overcome any trial, temptation, or adversity. So never cower, never faint under pressure. Be spiritually tough! Jesus was tough—He withstood and triumphed over every contrary wind that came against Him (Hebrews 12:2).
Understand this: the things that make you tough in the Spirit are often wrapped in the form of opposition, resistance, or persecution. If you avoid them, you’ll remain at the same level of faith and spiritual maturity. That’s why your adversaries, though uncomfortable, are important in your growth process.
So don’t pray them away. Instead, see them as necessary agents of promotion! The storms you face are not designed to destroy you but to strengthen your faith-muscles and deepen your spiritual roots.
Child of God, welcome challenges; welcome the contrary winds. The stronger they blow, the deeper your roots will grow—and the higher you’ll soar!
Remember: the eagle doesn’t flee from the storm; it uses the storm’s wind to rise higher above the clouds. That’s your story too! Every challenge is a divine opportunity for advancement, glory, and testimony. In Jesus name.
Amen!
Faith Declaration:
I rejoice in trials because I know who I am in Christ!
Victory is in my spirit, and nothing can defeat me.
Every challenge is a stepping-stone to promotion.
I grow stronger, wiser, and tougher through every test.
I soar above the storms of life, triumphant in Christ Jesus!
Prayer Point
Jeremiah 1:10 – See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.
Pray and declare that more and more of our brethren are granted supernatural opportunities and access in governance, business etc., and they are coming into positions of authority and decision making in their professions and cities.
Pray for open and effectual doors for expansion and increased influence of the gospel in all states and cities this nation; we declare that our gospel and ministry influence will continue to grow and dominate religion and all forms of evil. Colossians 4:3 – Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ…
