JOINED TO THE LORD

“But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him” (1 Corinthians 6:17).

One of the most defining truths of scripture is that we are one with the Lord. We are one with Him in identity and ability. What many believers say, do, or experience that contradicts the scriptures, is a sign that this truth continues to elude them. 

Understand that He is head and you, individually and corporately, are His body. There is nothing that demarcates, separates, or distinguishes you from the Lord apart from your confessions. 

Being your head, His goal is your goal. His mission is your mission and all the resources required to accomplish the goal and mission are at your beck and call, exactly the way, the Lord would call them into being. 

Understand that you are the physical presence of the Lord on the earth. But you have got to become conscious of who you are in truth. You and God are one inseparable entity and to actualize this existence on earth, you have got to be minded on your union through meditation and confessions. Say it with me, “I have been joined to the Lord. I am one spirit with Him.”

You have compared yourself with mortals for too long and so their experiences have been your experience. Psalm 82:5-6 NIV says, “The ‘gods’ know nothing, they understand nothing. They walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken. “I said, ‘You are “gods"; you are all sons of the Most High.” There is no other way to describe your nature other than to tell you that you are divine.

It’s not a reality that you can aspire to. It is who you must accept that you are. There are feats that will take ordinary people years to accomplish, feats that you can accomplish in a single day. Lean into your divinity right this moment by confessing that you’re joined to the Lord until this reality dawns upon your heart. 

It will orient your utterances, associations, motives, and movements. 

You are one with God and you have the responsibility of expressing your true self to the world.

Faith-Filled Confession 

I am one spirit with my Lord Jesus. Everywhere I am, God is. The full force of divinity modifies and backs my utterances, motives, associations, and movements such that when people encounter me, they are drawn to the divine nature and immediately desire to be in Christ. Hallelujah!
