JESUS IS YOUR VICTORY

5/29/2025

“I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.” John 10:9

Your understanding— not just any understanding, but your present-hour understanding— is everything. This understanding must align with the person of Jesus Christ. Proverbs 4:7 says:

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”

In other words, no matter what else you acquire in life, get understanding. A person who lacks understanding is going nowhere in life.

Let’s look at an example of a present-hour understanding: Jesus said,

“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).

Many Christians read this and think Jesus was referring to the church. But as a child of God, you must know—that verse is not talking about you anymore.

When you gave your heart to the Lord, you came to Jesus with all that weariness, burdens, and sin—and Jesus took it all. Now, you are no longer carrying the burdens of sin, sickness, lack, or confusion. You have entered into His rest!

For those who are not saved, Jesus still says:

“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”But you, child of God, have already come. Praise God!

Hear me, saints:

  • You are no longer under the taskmaster of sin and sickness.

  • Failure cannot lord itself over you anymore.

  • There is no generational curse working in your life, because your life is Christ (Colossians 3:4).

The one who was weary and heavy-laden already came to Jesus—and now, you are no longer that person. You are not the one in need of deliverance. You are the delivered, anointed to deliver others!

This understanding is vital—without it, you may live as though Jesus’ finished work is a lie. This misunderstanding has crippled the faith of many in the body of Christ.

As long as we keep asking God to do what He has already done in Christ, we will never walk in the fullness of His blessings. The supernatural life will never be a present-hour reality for us. When you study the Bible, locate your place in it, in the light of what Jesus has already done for you.

Look at our opening verse again:

“I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.”

The key phrase is:

“If anyone enters by Me…”

So, have you entered by Him? If the answer is yes, then you are saved. You have entered into His rest—divine health, prosperity, victory, and all that is consistent with Heaven.

This is not something you receive through fasting and prayer—you entered into it the day you confessed Jesus as Lord.

The Greek word for “saved” here is sózó—it means:

  • To heal

  • To preserve

  • To save

  • To do well

  • To be whole

In other words, the day you entered by Christ, you were eternally healed and delivered. You are no longer in need of healing or deliverance—He did it once and for all! From now on, Jesus is your salvation, preservation, and victory. Hallelujah!

Notice that Jesus didn’t say those who enter by Him will be saved—He said they are saved. Salvation is not a process—it’s a one-time event, and your life thereafter is characterized by a glorious life of pleasure and peace.

Rejoice!

Faith-Filled Confession

I am healed and delivered. I have been saved to the uttermost. Christ is my life, and my life is Christ. My days of being weary and burdened are over! I am in my place of rest. My Lord Jesus has given me peace on every side and has perfected all that concerns me. To Him alone be all praise and glory. Hallelujah!

Prayer Point

Pray for our brethren, that an indescribable hunger for souls is stirred in them, causing them to preach the Word everywhere with boldness, leading to the salvation of many. (Acts 4:29–31)

Pray that the light of our glorious Gospel will continue to shine with increased intensity in our city. Declare that signs and wonders will be a common occurrence whenever the Gospel is preached, until the knowledge of the glory of God covers our city as the waters cover the sea. (Habakkuk 2:14)

Declare that every opposition against our pastors is ineffective. Pray that through their ministry, the kingdom of God expands exceedingly, is established in the hearts of men, and the name of our Lord Jesus Christ is glorified. Amen.
