IT’S ABOUT TIME

"For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God” (Romans 8:19). 

You do not have to live sick, confused, angry, or frustrated. Living in lack, pain, and despair contradicts who we are in Christ. If you make up your mind right now to bring to an end everything that contradicts your life in Christ, it would be so for you; the sickness, confusion, poverty, and hopelessness will all be over. Someone may say, “How can it happen that fast?” It can happen that fast because the glorious life in Christ is a present hour reality and not a promise. This was the life you received at salvation. And to see the manifestation of this life, you have to first acknowledge that you have this life and then declare with your mouth that because you have this life, everything that is contrary to the name of Jesus bows. 

Romans 5 :17 says “For if because of one man’s trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God’s] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).” Notice what it says: Those who are born again are to reign and live as kings in this life; not when they get to heaven but in this life. In other words, we are to reign as masters over devils and circumstances. So why does there seem to be a disconnect? Why don’t we see this as the norm in the church of Jesus today? I believe the problem is multifaceted. However, I believe that at the top of the list is a lack of faith in God's Word.

Jesus said in Matthew 18:3, "Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” Saint, you must believe the Word not as a religious person but as a child. Children don’t know enough to fake their belief in what you tell them. Say anything to them, they will believe it with their life and act on that which they have come to believe in. Often you hear them tell their friends about something you promised them, even if you only said it to get them to act their best. Kids do not differentiate between a real commitment or a not so real commitment. They just believe without questioning whatever you tell them. This kind of faith--a child-like faith-- is needed to shift things so that Heaven can be reflected through you. 

I believe it is time for your family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, and city to see the true you; the one who is a victor in Christ; the one who is an oasis of all that God is in Christ Jesus. Saint, this is the time to be all that God has called you to be.

Father, I thank You for making me a vessel that illuminates and imparts life by the power of the Holy Ghost. Thank You for making me an exhibition of God's perfection. As light, I declare that my life reveals Christ and makes known His saving grace everywhere that I go, in Jesus' name. Amen.
