"Then God said, "Let there be light," and there was light" (Genesis 1:3).
Someone once said, "It does not matter what I say or do; God will do what He wants to do." If this were true, everyone would be saved and full of the Spirit. 1 Timothy 2:4 lets us know that this is God's desire. However, it does not work that way. God wants to do immeasurably more than we could ever imagine, yet He cannot until we speak in agreement with His will for our lives. God's Word on our lips is His authorization to intervene in our affairs.
We can observe this in Genesis chapter one, as God created the world. The Bible says that the Spirit of God moved over the face of the deep. Yet, nothing changed until God spoke. From this, we know that it is not enough to "feel" the move of the Spirit. The Spirit needs the spoken Word for change to occur. As God spoke after the Spirit had moved, the Bible says that everything He spoke came into being.
Today, the Spirit is already moving, and He's moving in anticipation that you will speak forth the Word just like Papa God. Someone may say, "But, Pastor, I thought Jesus said that it was finished. Why, then, should we have to do anything?" You are right! It is finished; however, for everything that Jesus deemed finished to have an expression in your life, you must supply the corresponding code--God's Word. You must say what He said.
Romans 10:9 says, "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." In reality, it was not the day that you confessed Jesus to be the Lord of your life that you got saved. The entire world was saved the day Jesus was raised from the dead. Nevertheless, your confession of the Lordship of Jesus brought you to the vital realization of your salvation.
Here's the simple truth: God already concluded everything He desired on earth. It is now our responsibility to speak forth what has been done. Jesus said to His disciples, "Pray to the Father that His will be done, on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10). In other words, whatever God has done is stored in Heaven. Your health, prosperity, victory, peace, and wholeness are all consummated in Christ Jesus. However, to experience it in this material world, you must supply Heaven with the finished code--God's Word. When you do, there will be a change. Saints, that is what God did in Genesis. He supplied the creation code, and the Holy Spirit brought into being what was finished in the mind of God. This is how to dominate your world in 2024. The Holy Spirit is moving and waiting for you to voice His Word.
God bless you.
Faith-Filled Confession:
My ears are inclined to hear God today. And as I hear, I speak, and I experience all that's mine in Christ. Amen.
