“Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it” (Colossians 2:15).
One of the greatest revelations every believer must have is that Satan is already defeated. Jesus did not struggle for victory at the cross—He secured it completely. Through His death and resurrection, every power of darkness was stripped of authority, and the enemy was publicly defeated before Heaven and earth.
The enemy thrives on fear, deception, and ignorance. He wants believers to think he still has power over their lives, but the truth is that his authority was broken through Christ. Like a loud bark with no real power behind it, Satan attempts to intimidate those who do not know who they are in Christ.
Jesus said in Luke 10:19, “I have given you authority… over all the power of the enemy.” This means you have authority over fear, oppression, sickness, confusion, and every work of darkness. You are not helpless, and you are not alone. The victory Jesus won belongs to you today.
Many believers live beneath their privileges because they are more conscious of the problem than they are of Christ’s finished work. But when you renew your mind with God’s Word, faith rises within you, and you begin to walk boldly in the authority God has given you.
The cross settled the matter forever. Satan cannot undo what Jesus accomplished. Christ disarmed principalities and powers and exposed them openly. Because of this, you do not have to live intimidated by the enemy or by the circumstances around you.
Child of God, walk in confidence today. Lift your head high knowing that you belong to the victorious Christ. Refuse fear, reject defeat, and stand firm in faith. You are not fighting to obtain victory—you are enforcing the victory that Jesus already secured on your behalf.
Faith-Filled Confession:
Christ’s victory is my victory. I walk in boldness, authority, and dominion through Jesus Christ. Fear has no place in my life because the Greater One lives in me. Every power of darkness is under my feet, and I live daily in the reality of Christ’s finished work. Hallelujah!
