"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek" (Romans 1:16).
There is an urgency in the spirit realm to reach our world for Jesus. Just look at what is unraveling at Asbury University in Wilmore Kentucky. Something that started as a regular service is now more than thirteen days with over fifty thousand people from all over the United States.
Saints, God is moving upon the church to radically evangelize the earth and prepare the world for Christ's return. The darkness we are witnessing today is the fulfillment of prophecies spoken by holy men and women of old, and this is only the beginning. However, in the midst of the darkness, God is calling us to arise with His Word in our mouth because help will not come from the government or any worldly system but the church. God has sent you as an answer in this dark hour, and He has tied the wellbeing of many to your obedience. You, beloved, are the balancing factor and hope for the earth.
The hopelessness that has gripped our world today is because the church has failed to shine the light of Jesus. We seem to have allowed the world to quiet us from talking about Jesus. Somehow, we have failed to realize that all that we have is for the gospel. The reason for our faith and every blessing of Heaven is that we share the gospel. Your faith in Jesus should not stop with you and your family. Many out there need to know that Jesus saves, and salvation is only in the name of Jesus Christ. But what are we doing with what we have? How many have heard the gospel of salvation from your lips? Today, God is calling on you to tell everyone that salvation is made available to them only in Jesus Christ.
God has vested interest in the life of every sinner because it was for them that He sent Jesus to die. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:21, "For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ." And He takes it very seriously when we fail in doing our part of letting them know what He has done for their salvation. In Ezekiel 3:18, the Lord said, "When I say to a wicked person, 'You will surely die,' and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood." This is serious business, saints!
It is time for us to wake up to our heavenly obligation. We must testify to the world that Jesus saves, heals, and blesses. Romans 10:14 says, "How, then, can they call on the One they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?" Will you be that preacher today? Heaven is counting on you.
God bless you!
Faith-Filled Confession:
I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation. I will not shy away from sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with those around me. My spirit is alive to soul winning.
