GROUNDED IN LOVE

“[Pray] that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—[the love of Christ].” — Ephesians 3:16–18

The life we have received in Christ is a life that only operates by love. Love is the foundation of how we think, act, and speak. The moment a believer lives outside the love of God in Christ Jesus, life becomes dysfunctional.

Notice how God expects us to comprehend things—He wants us to grasp spiritual truths based on our roots and grounding in His love. 

For the believer, love is not optional; it is the very atmosphere in which we live and thrive.

Just as a fish needs water to survive, believers need love to function.

So what is love?

Romans 13:10 defines it this way:

“Love does no harm to a neighbour; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.”

In other words, love is a verb—it is expressed in thoughts, words, and actions that cause no harm but only good to others.

Love is the language of the Kingdom and the lifeblood of the body of Christ. Every joint and every part of the body functions effectively only when love flows freely among its members. When love governs our relationships, unity thrives, prayers gain power, and our witness to the world becomes irresistible.

To be grounded in love means to live conscious of the fact that God’s love is both the root of your identity and the fruit of your daily walk. Everything you do, from serving others to pursuing your divine assignment, must spring from this root.

As you go about your day, understand that your purpose and function in the body of Christ are anchored in love. Let love motivate your decisions, shape your responses, and fuel your obedience to God’s nudging in this season.

Faith-Filled Confession

I am rooted and grounded in the love of God. His love strengthens my inner man and flows through every part of my life. I cause no harm, but only good, to those around me. Through love, I discern the deeper callings of God and fulfill my divine purpose with grace and excellence. The love of God is my atmosphere, my motivation, and my victory. Hallelujah!

Prayer Point For Family And Ministry

Matthew 5:14

“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

Pray that every divine helper assigned to your family and our ministry will not be delayed, distracted, or hindered. Decree that the path of our helpers is made straight and that they locate us promptly by the the Holy Ghost.

Declare and pray that influence, testimony, and progress increase continually. Making every member of your family to rise and shine as a living witnesses of God’s grace. Declare, that their lives will continue to be an undeniable proof of God’s favor and faithfulness for all to see.

Declare that no weapon formed against our destiny or progress shall prosper. Every limitation is broken, every delay is overturned, and divine acceleration is their portion. Also, pray that our names are mentioned in the right places, and our steps are ordered into abundance, promotion, and peace.
