GREATER WORKS

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these will he do, because I go to My Father." — John 14:12

One of the most astonishing statements Jesus ever made was not about what He would do—it was about whatyouwould do.

Think about it. Jesus opened blind eyes, healed the sick, cleansed lepers, raised the dead, cast out demons, walked on water, and fed multitudes. Yet He looked at His disciples and declared, "Greater works than these will he do."

This means that God never intended for you to merely admire the works of Christ. He intended for you to continue them.

The Christian life is not a life of survival; it is a life of divine purpose, supernatural impact, and Kingdom influence. You were not saved just to make Heaven. You were saved to reveal Christ to your world.

The same Holy Spirit who empowered Jesus now lives in you. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in every believer. Therefore, there is no reason to live intimidated by the challenges around you. You carry the life of God within you.

Unfortunately, many believers have reduced Christianity to attending church services and hoping things get better. But Jesus called us to something far greater. He called us to be His hands, His feet, and His voice in a hurting world.

Everywhere Jesus went, lives were transformed. The broken found hope. The sick found healing. The lost found salvation. The oppressed found freedom. As His representatives, we have been entrusted with the same mission.

Child of God, refuse to live beneath your calling. Refuse to see yourself as ordinary. There is greatness on the inside of you because Christ lives in you. You have been empowered to make a difference in your generation.

Today, expect God to use you. Pray boldly. Speak faith-filled words. Share the Gospel. Encourage the discouraged. Lay hold of God's Word and let His light shine through you.

You were not born again to live an ordinary life.

You were born for greater works.

Faith-Filled Confession

Christ lives in me, and His power is at work through me. I am an ambassador of the Kingdom of God and a carrier of His presence. I walk in wisdom, boldness, love, and supernatural power. Through the Holy Spirit, I accomplish the works God has called me to do. I refuse limitation, fear, and intimidation. I am making an impact in my generation, bringing glory to God and advancing His Kingdom. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
