GOD WILL WORK THINGS OUT FOR YOUR GOOD

4/26/2025

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7).

If God is with you, then you are alright. It doesn't matter how bad it may look on the outside. Jesus said in Matthew 6:30-33 (Message Translation), "If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don't you think He'll attend to you, take pride in you, do His best for you? What I'm trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God's giving. People who don't know God and the way He works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how He works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don't worry about missing out. You'll find all your everyday human concerns will be met." In other words, focus on what God is doing in your life and refuse the feeling of doubt, fear, and unbelief. Philippians 4:6-7 (CEV) says, "Don't worry about anything, but pray about everything. With thankful hearts, offer up your prayers and requests to God. Then, because you belong to Christ Jesus, God will bless you with peace that no one can completely understand. And this peace will control the way you think and feel." Better still, the peace of God will deliver your heart's desire into your hand.

Romans 8:28 says, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose." Again, James 1:2 says, "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials." In other words, do not allow anything to alter your joy. It doesn't matter if the situation has to do with you or with another. The Scripture says, DO NOT WORRY; DO NOT LOSE YOUR JOY. Why? Because adverse circumstances are designed to elevate you to another phase and level of purpose and destiny. I say this all the time--I don't know enough to be worried. And this is because God told me several years ago that He was more zealous about my wellbeing and success than I could ever be. So, rather than allow the situation to overwhelm me, I simply cast it on Him. 1 Peter 5:7 says, "Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you." When we cast our concerns on Him, we must be mindful not to pick them back up again. Don't take it back to reminisce over it; this is what the enemy would love to have you do. Instead, hand it over to God and remind yourself and the devil that God has it all under control.

Today, I encourage you to be comforted by God's Word. Trust God's Word; it does not fail. The Word that got you saved is well able to keep you safe and attend to your every need. So, refuse to be bothered by transient circumstances that contradict the Word. Remember, impossibility has never stopped your God from being God. So why not trust Him with everything and watch Him work all things out for your good?

Have a blessed day.

Faith-Filled Confession

I refuse anxiety over anything. Instead, I always rejoice because God has not given me the spirit that produces anxiety. On the contrary, He has given me the spirit of love, power, and a sound mind.
