GOD’S SPIRIT IS GOD’S ANSWER

“He stirs up the sea with His power, And by His understanding He breaks up the storm. By His Spirit He adorned the heavens; His hand pierced the fleeing serpent.” (Job 26:12-13)

In a troublesome situation, there are four dimensions in which, with prayer, the Spirit of the Lord can collaborate with us to fix anything. The first is the stirring of His power. Acts 1:8 says, “​​But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” There is a reservoir of power in you that you have to stir up. The reason why many speak in tongues but see no power stir is that they don’t do it conscious of the power they are wielding. But this is exactly how the situation will change. If a spirit is responsible for the adverse situation, your conscious stirring of power will produce a massive discomfort in that evil spirit.

Next, and closely linked to stirring up the power in tongues is that insights on what to do will come to you as soon as the evil spirit has been dislodged from its position in the stormy situation. Write these insights down and execute as soon as possible.  Ephesians 6:10 tell us that “...we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12).

Next to insights are visions. The Holy Spirit will give you a picture of His desired future so that you can declare it with your mouth. When you see these pictures and declare them, you are bringing God’s will in heaven to the earth for there can be no rain unless there is a person to till the ground (see Genesis 2:5). Declare the visions of the Spirit and watch them come to pass. 

Lastly, God’s Spirit is also referred to as His hand. And here, hand referred to a wielded weapon. The hand of the Lord is striking blows. And how do you wield the hand of the Lord? This happens by patiently maintaining your confession as a mark of humility. 1 Peter 5:6-9 says, “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.”

Be conscious of what you are doing when you speak in tongues. Know what to do when an insight on what to do comes to you as you pray. Recognize when the Lord gives you a vision of the future and declare it under the influence of the Holy Spirit. Lastly, maintain what the Lord has said about the situation, resisting the enemy, by your unchanging confession. 

The enemy is wired to flee when you resist him this way. James 4:7 says, “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”

Submitting to God by saying the same things as He has said is a form of piercing the serpent. 

So remember that God’s answer is His Spirit, in these four variants of deployment, depending on the weight class of the  adversary. 

Faith-Filled Confession

I am a defended city. The Spirit of God in me is God’s answer so that in every adversity, I come out on top. God always gives me the victory. Hallelujah!

Prayer Point

Pray For Your Mom and all the mothers that are connected to you.

1. Begin with thanksgiving for all mothers.

Psalm 91:16  “With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation”.

2. Pray against every attempt to bring destruction and calamity to mothers. Declaring that their lives are preserved by the mercy and love of God.

Ephesians 1:17-19 “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

3. Pray that the evidence of the Spirit of wisdom and understanding will be mightily on them this year and beyond.
