GOD’S FORGIVENESS IS IRREVOCABLE

5/28/2025

“For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until He comes.” (1 Corinthians 11:26)

One of the enemy’s greatest tactics is to use our shortcomings to numb our faith, hoping to gain an advantage over us. Have you ever noticed how the enemy brings up your past mistakes right when you’re about to enter into worship or as the Holy Spirit stirs you to raise your faith?

He does this because he knows he is powerless when your faith is fully rooted in God’s Word. If he can convince you that you’re unworthy, he can keep you bound. He’ll even dredge up sins you’ve already confessed!

But hear this:1 John 1:9 says,“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

Someone may ask:"At what point do I know that God has forgiven and purified me from all unrighteousness?"

The answer is simple yet profound: You were forgiven the moment the blood of Jesus was shed and accepted by the Father as the payment for your sins.

Your confession doesn’t trigger God’s forgiveness; it simply appropriates what Jesus accomplished over two thousand years ago.

1 John 2:1-2 declares:"If anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. "Hallelujah!

What About the Feeling of Condemnation?

Someone else might ask:"Why do I still feel condemned after I’ve asked for forgiveness?"

Beloved, that feeling of condemnation is not from the Father—it’s from Satan. Romans 8:1 reminds us: "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."

Refusing to accept God’s forgiveness and lingering in guilt is exactly how the enemy tries to numb your faith and keep you bound. This is why partaking in Holy Communion is non-negotiable.

Every time you eat the bread and drink the cup, you are declaring to the powers of darkness that the Lord’s death was for youand that its benefits are active in your life.

By partaking in the Communion, you are proclaiming:

  • Jesus was judged and punished in my place; I cannot be judged or condemned.

  • Because He conquered death and stripped Satan of his powers, I am not defeated—I am victorious!

Each time you take the Communion, you remind the devil of his humiliating defeat at Calvary’s Cross. Hallelujah! You boldly declare:"Satan, you cannot lord sin over me. You cannot lord self-condemnation over me. Jesus Christ is my atoning sacrifice. He is my Passover. "Praise God forevermore!

Faith-Filled Confession:

By reason of the sacrifice of Jesus, I declare that I walk in health. I refuse sickness and disease. I am healed and in health, from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet. The works of Satan have been paralyzed in my life, in Jesus' name. Amen!

PRAYER POINT

Pray for our brethren, that an indescribable hunger for souls is stirred in them continually causing them to preach the word everywhere with boldness, resulting to the salvation of more souls and that the Word of the Lord may increase and bear more fruits in them (Acts 4:29-31)

Pray that the light of our glorious Gospel will continue to shine with increased intensity in our city. Declare that signs and wonders will be a common phenomenon whenever our Gospel is preached, until the knowledge of the Glory of our God covers our city as the water covers the sea. Habakkuk 2:14 – For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea

Declare every opposition against our pastors are ineffective; that through the work of our pastors, the kingdom of God expands exceedingly, and established in the hearts of men, and the name of our Blessed Lord be glorified. Amen.
