“But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26)
It’s always important to stop and perceive the Lord in the moment, not for the loud manifestations or the visible signs but in the whispers of the Holy Spirit. “The LORD said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the LORD, for the LORD is about to pass by.” Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper” (1 Kings 19:11-12).
Well the gentle whisper of the Holy Spirit to you is that with God, that house you want to buy; the promotion you want to get; that baby that you and your spouse have been trying for; the new car; the dream vacation; the addition to your church membership, and the repentance of that family member and friend is possible.
The Psalmist said of the LORD, “For by You I can run against a troop, By my God I can leap over a wall” (Psalm 18:29), meaning with the LORD, you are set to accomplish the mind boggling. People will come from near and far to watch you with amazement. They would behold you, eyes wide and mouth agape because the feats that you would bring to pass this year.
Here’s how it's going to happen. Ephesians 3:20-21 says, “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
Just as He said to our Father Abraham, He says to you, “...Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are—northward, southward, eastward, and westward; for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever” (Genesis 13:14-15)
Make a collage of miracles and put it up where you can see it everyday. Let this collage of miracles capture images of best things. For example, if you have a goal to buy a house this year, don’t put a picture of a house you think you can afford. Rather, put a photo of the most beautiful house you can possibly find on your collage of miracles. Do the same for every other goal.
Then every morning, after you have prayed, go to that collage of miracles and begin to rejoice, prophesy and praise God.
Hear me, it is a different year. It is your Year of Joy.
Have a blessed day!
Faith-Filled Confession
I come into complete alignment with the God of the Impossible. With Him, I accomplish the mind-boggling. With Him, I subdue the enemy and trump the limitations of flesh and the boundaries set by human expectations. I am God’s best and therefore, I only enjoy the best that the land has to offer. Praise God.
