GOD NEVER FUNCTIONS OUTSIDE HIS WORD

8/23/2025

“Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation, I felt the necessity to write to you appealing that you contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 1:3 NAS).

To consistently manifest the divine life you have in Christ, you must embrace the gospel in its purest form—without human add-ons. The Bible is clear: “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved” (Romans 10:9). That’s it—no pre-salvation classes, no 21 days of fasting, no human-made conditions. Salvation is not authenticated by rituals; it is received by faith, according to the Word of God. With the heart, man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. Nothing more, nothing less.

The moment you said yes to Jesus, you also said yes to everything He provided—prosperity, health, victory, wisdom, preservation, and success. Legally and vitally, you became all that the Word says you are, and it has nothing to do with your feelings. It is based solely on the eternal Word of God. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1). God never functions outside His Word. To do so would mean the collapse of creation itself. His Word governs Him, and therefore He will never relate to you on any basis that contradicts His Word.

Now that you are born again, God no longer sees you as a sinner, nor does He see you in poverty, sickness, failure, or fear. He only relates to you as the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus—victorious, prosperous, wise, and full of life. Hallelujah!

When Jude exhorts us to “contend earnestly for the faith,” the word contend means to appropriate—to skillfully and persistently stand against anything that contradicts the finished work of Christ. Faith is acting on the revealed Word of God in light of Christ’s victory over sin, death, and the world. To contend for the faith is to seize the reality of your salvation—your healing, peace, wisdom, authority, and prosperity—and to oppose anything that denies it.

You are free in Christ! Therefore, refuse to submit to bondage of any kind. Seize the Word, believe it, confess it, and live in its reality. Fill your heart and mouth with faith-filled words, and let the truth of God’s Word silence every contradiction.

Faith-Filled Confession

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You because I am a success. My victory over failure and darkness is eternal. I walk in prosperity, wisdom, health, and favor every day. I operate in excellence, patience, and love. I refuse bondage of any kind, for I am free and full of life in Christ. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
