GOD IS YOUR PRESENT HELP

“Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and turn away from evil.” — Proverbs 3:7

Saints, God is not merely coming to help you; He is your ever-present Help! Better still, as a believer, you live in the reality of His presence and help. You do not have to wait for God to show up when trouble comes because He is already with you and in you.

Psalm 46:1–3 declares, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change…” The Psalmist concludes in verse 11, “The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our stronghold.”

In other words, God is present even before you recognize that a challenge exists. Before the storm arises, He is there. Before you discover the problem, His presence is already your assurance. Therefore, you can face life with confidence, knowing that you are never left to figure everything out by yourself.

Child of God, you are never alone, so do not be discouraged. Even when you feel alone, you are not alone. Even when it appears that nothing is changing, remain assured of your Father’s love and faithfulness. The absence of visible change does not mean the absence of God’s presence!

Philippians 1:6 says that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. God is at work in you, and you can trust Him to complete what He has begun.

Peter reminds us in 1 Peter 1:18 (MSG) that it cost God greatly to redeem us from our former way of life. Your walk with God is a journey, and throughout that journey, you must maintain a deep consciousness of His presence and love. Spiritual growth is a process, and God is faithful as He works in you.

Perhaps you believe that your mistakes have contributed to your present situation. Even then, do not allow regret to blind you to God’s grace. Acknowledge your mistakes, receive His correction, and trust Him to guide you forward. Your past does not have to dictate your future when you surrender your path to God. Open your eyes to recognize His hand at work in your life.

Proverbs 3:5–7 instructs us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts, refuse to lean on our own understanding, acknowledge Him in all our ways, and not be wise in our own eyes. This means trusting God even when His workings are beyond your understanding. You may not know how everything will unfold, but you can rest in the knowledge that He is faithful.

Child of God, listening to God and trusting His wisdom is always to your advantage. The process may be uncomfortable, and the answers may not come as quickly as you desire, but remain steadfast. As you continue to trust and obey Him, allow His Word to direct your steps into the next season of your life.

You are not waiting for God to become your Help. He is your present Help, and you can face today with confidence in His presence!

God bless you!

FAITH-FILLED CONFESSION

The Lord of hosts is with me; I will not fear what anyone can do to me. I will not be moved by the contradictions that come my way. God is my refuge, my strength, and my ever-present Help. I am never alone, for His presence is with me and His Spirit is at work in me. I trust His wisdom above my own understanding, and I am confident that He who began a good work in me will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Since God is faithful, I will continue to trust Him, follow His Word, and walk confidently in His grace. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
