GOD IS IN YOUR MOUTH

12/29/2022

"...and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen." (Matthew 28:20)

It is striking that Lord would say this in Matthew's final recollection of the ministry of Jesus. The Word of God, creator of the world said He would be with you always, even till the end of the age. Does that mean He is with me now? Someone might be asking. He is. The creator of all things is with you, right where you are, and I would like for you to take the import of this statement by pausing to think about it for a moment.

Quite frankly, as it relates to you, God never asks you to meet Him at any location. Some go to the mountains to pray, and this is fine. Others, wait for God to appear to them in a vision of the night and there's nothing wrong with this either. "But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach)" (Romans 10:8). The word of God, which Himself is God is with you, in your mouth.

Just thinking about how close God is to you should smoothen out your day if you are having a rough one. It should put springs in your steps and add a chip to your shoulder. And make no mistakes about it, God is not with you so that you can be mute, no. He is not with you so that you can be harassed perennially by lack, no.

Hebrews 13:5 says, "Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He, Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you. So we may boldly say: “The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” In other words, knowing that God is with you, in your mouth, let nothing bother you from now on. Rather, recognize who is in your mouth, and speak Him forth to that situation.

This is why you must contemplate the word of God in your heart. Meditate upon it. Talk it and be aware that when you speak the pure word of God, angels are on call to carry it out with dispatch. "Bless the LORD, you His angels, Who excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding the voice of His word." (Psalm 103:20).

This was what the centurion understood when he said, "...  speak a word, and my servant will be healed. For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” (Matthew 8:8-9)

Saint, the divine authority is in your mouth. Speak and let the obstacles that see dissipate. Hear me, even if they seem like they are not listening, they are and they have no choice but to come into alignment with the Word by which all things consist.

Have a great day!

Faith-Filled Confession

God is with me,  in my mouth! And as I speak Him forth, my advantage is made apparent in every situation. It is as His word says it is and I have the victory!!! Hallelujah!
