"Enlarge the site of your tent [to make room for more children]; Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, do not spare them; Lengthen your tent ropes And make your pegs (stakes) firm [in the ground]. "For you will spread out to the right and to the left; And your descendants will take possession of nations And will inhabit deserted cities. Isaiah 54:2-3
Has God ever spoken to you, and you had to look around to see if you were the one He was talking to? Adam ate the forbidden fruit; the Bible says his eyes opened, and he saw his nakedness. Then God came and said to Adam, "Who told you that you are naked?" (Genesis 3:9-11). To the ordinary person, it would appear that God was in denial. Because with the optical eyes, Adam's nakedness was apparent. The same operation is seen with Jesus in John 11. Jesus knew that Lazarus had "died" in the natural, yet He said to His disciples, "Our friend Lazarus is asleep, and I am going there to wake him up." Puzzled by what they just heard, they said to Jesus, "Lord, if he is asleep, he will get better." Then Jesus told them plainly, "Lazarus is dead!
So why is it a big deal how God sees a situation? Why didn't He just recognize that Adam was naked or that Lazarus was dead? It is because God does not consult our circumstances or affirm what His Word has not said about us.
Imagine for a moment what may have gone on in the mind of Gideon in Judges 6. Talk about a state of hopelessness, despair, and defeat. That was the state of Israel when the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon and said to him, "The Lord is with you, mighty warrior." It wouldn't surprise me to know that Gideon looked around to see if the angel was talking to someone else. The Bible says that Gideon replied, "Pardon me (if I am a little skeptical), my lord," "but if the Lord is with us, why has all this happened to us? Where are all His wonders that our ancestors told us about when they said, 'Did not the Lord bring us up out of Egypt?' But now the Lord has abandoned us and given us into the hand of Midian."
That may describe you today. You may be like Gideon, wondering, "Where are all the wonders that the Lord prophesied about for 2023 that have not turned up?" Maybe you lost a child, a parent, or a spouse this year, or maybe you are wondering if you married the right person. Or you may be questioning whether you are in the right ministry, job, location, etc. Hear the Word of the Lord to you today: "GO FORTH, SPREAD, AND CONSOLIDATE." In other words, everything you have been through has led you to this moment for divine encounter. Now, you will receive an irrefutable change, harvest, and testimony. And don't guess whether or not this Word is for you. Because the Lord is speaking to you! Yes, You!
Like Gideon, you have been trying to make sense of what has been going on, hearing repeatedly that God has done this and that. The Word of the Lord to you right now is this: "Enlarge the site of your tent [to make room for more children, growth harvest, promotion]; Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, do not spare them; Lengthen your tent ropes And make your pegs (stakes) firm [in the ground]. "For you will spread out to the right and to the left; And your descendants will take possession of nations And will inhabit deserted cities (Isaiah 54:2-3).
This is the month of ACTION. The days of sitting and wishing for change are over! The Lord says GO FORTH, SPREAD, AND CONSOLIDATE. In other words, whatever you have is all that God needs. This is not the month to plan or prepare; you did that last month. This month, the Lord says, "Go forth, spread, and consolidate." It is time to get out of the boat and walk on water. Hallelujah!
Instructions of the Spirit for this month:
1. Grow in grace, wisdom, and intelligence. Forsake and abhor laziness or playing the "blame game." It is time to be responsible!
2. Deepen your spiritual worship. Develop personal worship and devotion.
3. Be consistent.
4. Bring order and discipline into your everyday life
5. Do not compromise on love
6. Show kindness at all times
With that, I welcome all pastors, partners, and residents of the body of Christ to September, the month to GO FORTH, SPREAD, AND CONSOLIDATE.
Praise God!
Faith Filled Confession
I affirm that the spirit of God has ushered me into a place of permanent prosperity, where everything is commanded to work together for my good. Everywhere I go and in everything I do, I make progress with giant strides. I have an economic advantage because the heritage of Jacob is my portion, and with an abundance of corn and wine, I am sustained. I walk daily in the light of my prosperity, for I am connected to an endless stream of wealth, riches, and glory. Hallelujah!
Prayer Point:
Acts.20:32, Psalm 27:1-3, 2Corinthians 2:14,Colossians 2:20, Galatians 1:3-4, 1John 4:4
Pray for all our pastors, partners, and residents around the world. Declare that the Word of God will dominate their thoughts, actions, words, etc.
Declare that they will always talk the Word, do the Word, act the Word, work the Word, and continually experience the victorious life in Christ Jesus.
Declare that they walk in the consciousness of the anointing and continually live independent of and above the principles and forces of this world.
