FUNCTIONING IN WISDOM

04/17/2024

"A wise man is strong, Yes, a man of knowledge increases strength; For by wise counsel you will wage your own war, And in a multitude of counselors there is safety" (Proverbs 24:5-6)

Wisdom is knowing enough about a thing to be able to produce something tangible with what you know. Wisdom begins with knowledge (or knowing) and then becomes understanding (know-how) but for it to qualify as wisdom, there must be an outcome, product, or service, tangible enough for others to acknowledge and utilize. In Luke 7:35, Jesus said,"...wisdom is justified by all her children.”

This means that wise people have evidence of their wisdom. They have products, services, new converts, wealth, and influence. This means that you can have all the knowledge in the world about a subject and know it intricately but if you have no results, you lack wisdom. A lack of wisdom is typically the reason why so many professors are "broke" echo-chambers.

For example, Proverbs 11:30 says, "The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise." This means that you can know to share the gospel with others and you might even understand homiletics; how to use evocative illustrations to pass the gospel message across but until a soul is won to Christ, you are not wise.

Wisdom is the greatest delineating factor between people in the wider society; the haves and haves-not, the successful and unsuccessful, and the outliers and bottom-feeders. The gospel to you today is that the life of Christ in you also has within it, wisdom from God. 1 Corinthians 1:30 says, "But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption." The ability to make outcomes, products, services, and converts out of the things that you know or want to learn resides in you.

But you mustn't let this ability lie dormant within you, otherwise, there would be no difference between you and the masses of this world that have no results, and experience failures in many aspects of their lives. To stir up the wisdom of God in you, speak in tongues every so often, study the Word of God, listen to teachings, and make confessions. As you constantly do these things, what to do to convert your knowledge into tangible results will come to you, and at such moments act swiftly.

Have a sterling day!

Faith-Filled Confession

I function in the wisdom of God. Therefore, I have and continue to have tangible, mind-boggling results that cause my unsaved peers, neighbors, and colleagues to defer to me. I see what others do not see and hear things that they do not hear because Christ has been made unto me, the Wisdom of God in righteousness, distinguishability, and redemption. I am a reference point by which others find salvation and I have my God to thank for this. Hallelujah!
