"And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts..." (2 Peter 1:19).
By way of reminder and exhortation, there are four important things that you should give your attention to as we start this new year, the Year of the God-Kind. Remember, God has an agenda for you this year, and for His agenda to come to fruition in your life, you must be sensitive to the spirit by which people around you speak into your life. Not everyone is authorized to speak into your life or tell you things related to your person, the circumstances you may be experiencing, or your future. One way to do this is to test every spirit that testifies to or about you. The Bible says, "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world" (1 John 4:1). Another way to do this is to reject outrightly every contrary pronouncement that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ. The enemy sometimes binds people with words. When the Bible said to you, "Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage..." (Galatians 5:1), it was referring to people speaking words that contradict the knowledge of Christ.
Next, keep the private plans and pursuits that God has put in your heart secret. Our enemy, the devil, does not know what you don't tell and cannot fight what he doesn't know. The Bible says, "A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards" (Proverbs 29:11 KJV). There are things you simply must not tell, particularly as you have not met the prayer quota for these yet. You are applying to get a new job; shut up and keep speaking in tongues. You are pregnant with a baby or babies, shut up, keep speaking in tongues and prophesying until the bump is obvious. You have a leading for marriage; shut up, keep praying about it, and go tell your Pastor. Remember, some things only need incubation and not announcing. They will announce themselves in time. So, it's okay to stay quiet about them.
Next, guard your heart against offense. Make up your mind that you will not be offended. If someone says something uncouth about you, stay cool. The Bible says, "And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:32). Do not wait for apologies; dole out forgiveness like Papa God whose mercies are new every morning. Ephesians 4:26 says, "Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath..." This year, forgive like breathing and move on. Hold no grudges whatsoever.
Lastly, refuse to quit. Understand that you have a life that cannot fail, lose, or be defeated. As long as you can pray, you cannot quit in any situation. Romans 8:37-39 says, "Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
This year, there is a manifestation of which you are on course. Romans 8:19 says, "For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God." If you keep these instructions, then the day will dawn, and the morning star will rise in your heart. Stay the course.
God bless you!
Faith-Filled Confession
I stay the course to my manifestation. I am diligent to keep the Word of God that I have received in my heart so that in due season, I bring forth all that the Lord has said about me. Hallelujah!
Day 7 of 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting
Pray for the Residents and Partners of Grace House Church to be Unshakable and Triumphant in Every Situation.
▪ Pray for those facing challenges in their health and family and for those whom Satan is stirring off the course of their assignment. Pray that their faith fail not, that they be strengthened by the Spirit in their inner man, triumphing by the Word sown in their hearts, and their faith prevails in all circumstances.
▪ Declare that they hold fast to their calling, living in and by the Word, irrespective of circumstances, that they may finish their course with joy, bringing glory to the Father in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen
Scriptural Reference
"Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen" (Jude 1:24-25).
