FOR HIS BLESSINGS ARE MY BLESSINGS

07/09/2023

"All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ" (Ephesians 1:3).

What you see in the physical is not all that there is to any given matter. A greater realm called the spiritual realm, controls what you experience in the physical realm. In fact, the physical only exists because of the spiritual. This is why you do not have to accept all that you see in the physical. As a believer in Jesus Christ, you must be cognizant of what exists in the spiritual realm so that when you notice things that are contrary happening in the physical, you can enforce what you see in the spiritual realm. The spiritual realm is greater, and this is where you ought to live from. 2 Corinthians 4:18 says, "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal." While the physical realm houses temporal things that are subject to change, the spiritual realm holds eternal realities upon which we must set our gaze.

These unseen realities exist in God's Word. Therefore, we must keep our gaze on the Word of God. So, if you are in a physical situation that does not look favorable, rejoice! For it has come to pass. The unseen reality remains that you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). You may have been diagnosed with one illness or the other. However, it does not change the unseen reality that by His stripes, you were (past tense) healed! (1 Peter 2:24). You may feel alone and neglected. It does not change the eternal reality that you are never alone. For He (God) has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 23:5).

No matter how you may feel today, the eternal reality remains that you are blessed. You may not feel blessed, look blessed, or even smell blessed, but all of that is physical and subject to change. Ephesians 1:3 declares, "All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ." In the spiritual realm, you are blessed, and to be blessed means that you have been empowered to prosper, not only financially but in all facets of life. \ You are blessed with wisdom, blessed in your health, finances, business, relationships, and every area of your life. Glory to God! 2 Peter 1:3 puts it this way; "His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness." In other words, everything that is required for you to be successful here on earth has already been given to you but exists in the realm of the spirit.

The way to make withdrawals is through your knowledge of God's Word. (Read 2 Peter 1:3). The Greek Word for knowledge in that scripture is epignosis. And it means knowledge that comes from recognition and discernment. If we do not discern that 2 Peter 1:3 applies to us today, and to every facet of living, we cannot enjoy to the fullest all that we have been blessed with. Any prayer by a Christian that is asking for God to bless is a prayer that is prayed amiss. For God has already blessed us not with some but ALL spiritual blessings. Our response should be to recognize what is ours and endorse it to be so. Rather than pray, "Bless me, Father God." Say, "I Thank you, Father, for blessing me with all that I require to live a victorious life, and I proclaim your blessing in all that I do." That is a prayer that heaven will rejoice over and will cause angels to be dispatched to ensure that you experience all that comes with being blessed.

Study the Word of God to know those things that are rightfully yours as a result of the life, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ. Refuse to live below God's best for you. Enjoy all that God has for you today.

God Bless You!

Faith Filled Confession:

I am blessed with all that I require to live victoriously on the earth. I refuse to live short of all that God has for me. The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; doors of opportunities open up to me because I am blessed and favored of God. Today, I keep my gaze on the eternal realities in God's Word. I proclaim that I am blessed, prosperous, strong, wise, peaceful, and joyful. In Jesus' name. Amen.
