"But Jesus immediately said to them: "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid" (Matthew 14:27).
We have a supernatural life in Christ. It is real, and it is now. All that the Scriptures talk about concerning salvation is a present hour reality. The victory of Christ over death, hell, and satan on our behalf is living and active, and we ought to be living it out now. Jesus never said that the works of satan would dominate us. Instead, He said, "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you" (Luke 10:19).
There is something in Luke 10:19 that you must grasp. Jesus said, "Behold!" The Greek word for "behold" is idou, which means to see with one's spirit. It is typically used to communicate certainty. In other words, our dominion over the enemy is predicated on our ability to behold or to see with our spirits. If I were to paraphrase Luke 10:19, I would say, "Look here! I have already made you master over satan and all of his manipulations. I have made you a king over darkness. I have made you the light of the world—a repelling force. Your presence in a place is the end of darkness—you show up, and darkness is vanquished." Now, if you have this same understanding, you shouldn't have an iota of fear! So, look beyond religion and away from the senses. Refuse to subject the revelation of the Word of God to your senses. See that you have the victory over sickness, failure, lack, satan, and darkness. Hallelujah!
In Matthew 14, when Jesus extended an invitation to the disciples to walk on water, He made a statement that you cannot afford to miss. He said, "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid" (Matthew 14:27). In other words, collect courage and dispel fear because you have SEEN ME. So, if there is a situation that frightens you, the Lord is saying, "Take courage! My child. I am with you. No word that I have spoken over you is void of power. My words concerning your wellbeing are real and certain, so see what I see, and hear what I hear. I see a victorious, healthy, and exquisite you; therefore, see nothing but what I see. Don't let your heart and mouth sway away from what I see about you; synchronize your mouth to my sayings. For whatever I saw, I spoke. Therefore, see what I see and declare it into being."
The Lord is calling you today to align yourself to the reality of heaven by speaking the revealed Word of God consistently. When the enemy comes, release a tsunami of the Word from your spirit, and when sudden fear comes, FEAR NOT! Irrespective of what you see, hear, or feel, with God's Word on your lips, you will establish what has already been established in heaven. So be emboldened from within and know that the Lord is with you. Hallelujah!
Faith-Filled Confession:
My future is bright and full of testimonies—testimonies of God's supernatural power. I see greatness, success, health, prosperity, progress, and victory. I am too full of joy to be bitter and too full of light to walk in darkness. Therefore, I declare that I will not subject my mind and body to the manipulation of darkness through offense, bitterness, anger, envy, and lust. In Jesus' name. Amen.
