Fasting and Alignment

It is common for people to fast when they find themselves in trouble or in dire need. But the believer does not fast only as a reaction to crisis. You don’t need to be in a messy situation to fast. We fast primarily as a ministry of and by the Holy Spirit. While anyone can choose to fast at any time, there are special times when the Spirit of God calls us to fast. These moments carry a unique grace, precision, and heavenly timing. They are divine appointments—strategically designed to position us accurately in God’s unfolding plan.

There will be times when the Holy Spirit prompts you to fast without notice, and other times He will alert you days or even months in advance. Regardless of the timing, when the Spirit says fast, you must fast. I dare say that the calls to fast without prior notice often carry more urgency and greater spiritual significance than those announced long before.

Today is such a moment.

As directed by the Spirit of the Lord, we are fasting today. This call to prayer and fasting is designed to bring us into perfect alignment with God’s purposes—especially as we approach the end of 2025. Heaven is making strategic moves, and the Spirit is positioning us to move with Him.

As you fast, pray, worship, and fellowship deeply with the Holy Spirit, remember this vital truth: your love-walk matters.

Anger, bitterness, or unforgiveness can frustrate and neutralize the power of your fasting. Jesus Himself said inMark 11:25:

“And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”

Forgiveness is not optional; it is a spiritual protocol. It keeps the channel of your spirit unclogged and your fellowship with God unhindered.

So as you fast today, release every hurt. Let go of every grudge. Walk in love. Be generous in heart and deed. Let your spirit remain light, tender, and responsive to God.

I trust that you will follow the Spirit’s leading with precision as He guides you upward into higher realms of His glory. Today is a day of alignment, clarity, sensitivity, and spiritual advancement.

Stay yielded.

Stay expectant.

Stay in love.

Your future is being shaped in the Spirit.

Faith Declaration:

I walk in love.

I refuse to hold on to anger, bitterness, or unforgiveness.

My spirit is free, my heart is clean, and my relationship with the Father is unhindered.

Today, I rise above distractions, emotions, and every attempt of the enemy to derail my focus. I maintain a posture of worship, honor, and deep fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

Prayer Point

Matthew 9:38

Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

We pray that more labourers be added to the churches of Jesus Christ in our city, that the Gospel may spread even further in our cities.

Jeremiah 1:10 – See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

Pray and declare that more and more of our brethren are granted supernatural opportunities and access in governance, business etc., and they are coming into positions of authority and decision making in their professions and cities.

Colossians 4:3 – Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ…

Pray for open and effectual doors to preach and teach the gospel in our city to thousands is open to us; we declare that our songs are on the lips of everyone in this region and that the influence of our sound will continue to grow and dominate religion and all forms of evil.

No matter what the situation is, we'd love to join our faith with you and believe God for a miracle and a change in your situation or circumstance. 

The Bible declares: "If two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven”(Matthew 18:19).
