“For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away.” (Matthew 25:29)
Faithfulness is a key ingredient for NEXT LEVEL. The Scripture says, “Moreover, it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.” (1 Corinthians 4:2).
In today’s theme verse, Jesus revealed a powerful kingdom principle: “For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away.” (Matthew 25:29).
This means that next level is triggered by faithfulness—particularly, faithfulness with the gifts, resources, and opportunities the Lord has entrusted to you. But note this: it’s not just being faithful in a general sense; next level begins when your gifts are first used for the Kingdom of God—in the divine order He has prescribed.
We see this order clearly illustrated in 1 Kings 17:13, when Elijah said to the widow,
“Do not fear; go and do as you have said, but make me a small cake from it first, and bring it to me, and afterward make some for yourself and your son.”
And again, Jesus emphasized this principle in Matthew 6:33:
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
In essence, when you put the Kingdom first—by using your gifts, talents, and resources for God’s purposes—next level in every other area of your life become unstoppable.
For someone reading this today, God is saying: “Use what I have placed in your hands for My Kingdom, and watch testimonies chase after you.” Someone else just needs to take a bold step—volunteer, serve, give, or help other believers—and watch the grace for next level be activated in your life.
Faithfulness often begins with a simple question: “Lord, what would You have me do with what You’ve given me?” And when He answers, it may not make sense—but obey anyway. His direction may defy logic, but it will never fail.
If you’ve tried everything to plug into the grace for next level, then faithfulness with what the Lord has placed in your life is the missing ingredient. Get into fellowship with the Holy Spirit and let Him show you how to use your gifts and resources for His glory—and then stick with it.
You are blessed.
Faith-Filled Confession
I am a faithful steward of the gifts, talents, and resources that the Lord has entrusted to me. I use them according to His instructions—promptly, cheerfully, and effectively.
Prayer Point:
2 Chronicles 5:11-14
Now all the priests who were present had consecrated themselves regardless of their divisions. And when the priests came out of the Holy Place, all the Levitical singers—Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun, and their sons and relatives—stood on the east side of the altar, dressed in fine linen and playing cymbals, harps, and lyres, accompanied by 120 priests sounding trumpets. The trumpeters and singers joined together to praise and thank the LORD with one voice. They lifted up their voices, accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and musical instruments, in praise to the LORD: “For He is good; His loving devotion endures forever.”And the temple, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud so that the priests could not stand there to minister because of the cloud. For the glory of the LORD filled the house of God.
