“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17
One of the most amazing things in life is to know that anything is possible. With such knowledge, every seed of doubt or unbelief is dissolved. Have you ever imagined what may have happened to the people who were at the grave of Lazarus when Jesus commanded the stone to be rolled away? Has it ever crossed your mind the level of adrenaline rush that many of those who heard Jesus scream, “Lazarus come forth” may have experienced? You have to understand something, when Jesus called forth Lazarus, it appeared as though the whole earth went silent; especially at the scene. Suddenly they heard a noise coming out from the tomb, guess what? John 11:44 said “And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with grave clothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin...” Dear Lord! Can you picture for a moment, the face of Martha who had said earlier “Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.” Imagine the face of Thomas when he saw Lazarus leaping out of the tomb. My goodness! “…Then Jesus saith unto them, loose him, and let him go.” John 11:44 Boy! I can tell you many of those who witnessed it, went shouting, dancing and praising God. If you were there I can tell you too would be shouting, “Glory!”
In Hebrews 13:8 the bible declares that “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” The irony is that many of God's people can relate with the Jesus of yesterday and forever and not so much with the Jesus of today. The reason may not be far-fetched; they do not believe the Word.
Look at it again; Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Meaning the same Jesus that stood outside the tomb of Lazarus is the same Jesus that is with you right now by the Holy Spirit. He is with you and in you with power and glory. May I remind you that, the only reason why the Holy Ghost is here in this world is because of you! John 14:16,18, 27, Deuteronomy 31:6, Matthew 28:20.
John 14:16 Jesus said “And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, to be with you forever.” So how come many of us still confess, “I don't have anyone to help me.” With such a confession, you short-circuit the power of God that was supposed to aid you at the time of your need. Do not talk like the rest of the world. You are born again! The life and the nature of God is in you! You have the spirit of faith; you can call things forth. You are God's man and woman for this hour to bring others out of their misery. Answer your call, a call to manifest God’s glory.
Respond to God's Word! You may ask, how do I do that? Respond with your spirit! Don't try to feel Him with your senses. He is not a sense God. He is a faith God and you are a faith child. If He says I am with you, your response should be, “the Lord is with me.” You have the same spirit of faith like Jesus. Believe the word of God and of our Lord Jesus Christ. Give your irrevocable committal to it.
Praise God!
Faith Filled Confession:
I walk by faith and I refuse to walk by sight. I walk by faith and I refuse to fear. The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Prayer Points
Pray that God will birth and ignite in us an unquenchable passion for the lost.
Pray that our ministry will be received by those to whom we are sent. Romans 15:30-31
Let's Continue to Pray that God's people will live revived, broken, and awaken to God's will, grace, instruction, and correction in righteousness.
Let's continue to pray that God's people will live undistracted by the pleasures of this world. Also, pray that none of us will yield to the demand of the flesh and the devil.
