"...Let the party last all night! Stand guard over our celebration..." (Psalm 5:11 MSG)
As a child of God, nothing can overcome you. For you to fail would mean that God lied or you failed to believe or act on His Word. But God can not lie. After Jesus' disciples were left stunned by an evil spirit that tormented a young lad and unable to cast out the evil spirit, the boy's father took the boy to Jesus. Jesus said to the man, "If thou canst! All things are possible to him that believeth" (Mark 9:23). In other words, nothing can refuse the demand of a man who operates by faith.
David exemplified this operation of faith when others were perplexed by the daunting task of defeating Goliath. The Bible says, "When Saul and his troops heard the Philistine's challenge, they were terrified and lost all hope." But David said, "What will be done for the man who kills this Philistine and removes this disgrace from Israel? Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God?" (1 Samuel 17:26)
Imagine what might have gone through the minds of those who heard David speak in such a manner. First, he was too young to be in the military. Secondly, Saul was the most suitable candidate to face Goliath (in the natural) since he was head and shoulder above everyone in Israel (1 Samuel 9:2). No one took David seriously. They saw it as an example of youthful exuberance. David's eldest brother Eliab, who listened as David inquired from soldiers standing by perplexed, became angry with David. He asked, "Why did you come down here?... Who did you leave those few sheep with in the wilderness? I know your arrogance and your evil heart--you came down to see the battle!" Even as others second-guessed David's ability, David saw an opportunity that could not be passed up on. Goliath's size, which intimidated others, David saw as an advantage.
Child of God, what is that challenge before you today? Be rest assured that you have the answer in Christ Jesus. No matter your circumstances, you have the victory in Christ Jesus. Maintain the same attitude as Caleb, who said concerning the giants in the promised land, ".. And do not fear the people of the land, for they are bread for us. Their protection is removed from them, and the LORD is with us; do not fear them" (Numbers 14:9). Whenever I read the portion that says, "…their protection is removed from them, and the LORD is with us; do not fear them," I get excited! He could have said, let's pray that God will remove their protection from them and grant us victory, but he didn't because he was fully persuaded by God's promises. He knew that their protection was removed from them the moment the Lord gave the Word and that all they needed was to act in faith.
So, like David, Joshua, Caleb, and those listed in Hebrews 11, take a stand of faith against everything that contradicts God's Word for your life and watch the enemy fade away in defeat.
Let this faith party last all night and all day! Hallelujah!
Faith-Filled Confession
The Holy Spirit helps me to see myself in God's Word. As I see myself, I run to actualize God's Word written about me. My mind is ready, and my heart is alert to fulfill God's specific design for me. In Jesus' name. Amen

Pray for believers around the world to be protected and delivered from end-time satanic deception.
Declare that God's children are strengthened, on fire, equipped, inspired, encouraged, and vibrant, and they boldly and fearlessly declare the Word of God everywhere they go.
Declare that there is a mighty harvest of souls around the world, and the knowledge of the glory of the Lord covers the entire earth as the waters cover the sea.
