“For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith…” —Hebrews 4:2
Your recreated spirit is the exact image of the Father. Christ is the visible expression of the invisible God, and as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). You carry His life, His nature, and His glory. If your spirit can house the Holy Spirit, then heaven itself can dwell in you. Praise God!
When God speaks, He speaks to your spirit—not your senses. His words are “spirit and life” (John 6:63). And whenever He sends His Word, He is giving Himself, because the Word is God (John 1:1). That’s why no Word from God is ever powerless—when His Word meets a situation, God Himself collides with it. And anything that collides with God is crushed into nothingness. Glory!
But even though the Word carries power, it still requires your faith response. Creation didn’t need faith, because creation isn’t spirit. But you are. When God gives you a Word, it enters your spirit loaded with power, waiting to be activated by faith. In the realm of God, the Word is already a done deal. Your part is to make it a done deal in your life—simply by responding in faith.
I once struggled with a piece of equipment and prayed about it. Right after praying, God asked me, “Do you trust Me?” I said yes. Then He said, “Sit down.” As long as I was still trying, I was not trusting. So I sat down and left it. Thirty minutes later, without me touching anything, it was working better than before. Hallelujah!
Prayer released the Word, but the miracle manifested when faith responded to God’s instruction.
Learn to respond from your spirit, and you will see the glory of His Word manifested.
God bless you!
Faith-Filled Confession
The Word of victory and health is in my heart and in my mouth. I speak success over the works of my hands. I declare that health, strength, and divine vitality are mine today. I refuse sickness and oppression. In the name of Jesus, amen!
