EXERCISE YOUR RIGHTS TO HEALTH

04/03/2023

"I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name." (Revelations 3:8)

There are responsibilities in the kingdom that require action on your part, otherwise, nothing happens. In today's theme scripture, God says to you: "...See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name." (Revelations 3:8) Note the instruction and tenses. First of all, He says,  "See..." meaning that you have a responsibility to know and be aware of what God is talking about. God won't see for you. Seeing and deciphering what you see is your responsibility.

Next, He says, "... I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it..." (Revelations 3:8). Note what He did not say. God did not say, " I will set before you an open door..." or "I plan to set before you an open door". Rather, we are informed that He has already done it, and there is absolutely nothing anyone can do about it.

This means that the ball is in your court to do with the open door what you ought to do with it, which is to advance through it. Now, this open door that God set before us has to do with our unalienable rights in Christ. And in today's devotional, one of these rights is the right to health. Health is your right in Christ and you don't have to beg God to heal you. Your job is simply to exercise your right to health by making confessions. God's desire for you is "that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers" (3 John 2). And He has done everything He needs to do about that desire. He sent Jesus "...who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed." (1 Peter 2:24)

Your health is an open door that God has set before you and to walk through that door you have got to exercise your right to health through your confession. Your health is not something you are passive about and you don't need to wait for symptoms to show up. The Prophet Joel says, "Beat your plowshares into swords And your pruning hooks into spears; Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’ (Joel 3:10). Your stance must be head-on when it comes to your health.

Excellent health is your right because you are a member of Christ's body, His flesh and His bones (according to Ephesians 5:30)

So talk your health preemptively every day. Declare that you are the healed of God, maintaining your health and never entertain any symptoms whatsoever. If you do nothing about the symptoms, they will only linger and get worse.

Exercise your rights to health every day and have a spectacular day today. In Jesus' name.

Faith-Filled Confession:

I am the healed of God maintaining my health. The life of God courses through every fibre of my being and therefore, sickness and death have no place in me. I am healthy from the crown of my head to the toes of my feet in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
