EXCEEDING ABUNDANTLY ABOVE

"Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us."— Ephesians 3:20

One of the greatest limitations we place on God is our own imagination. Too often, we pray according to our circumstances instead of according to His ability. We ask for enough to get by, while God is revealing Himself as the God of"exceeding abundantly above."

Notice that Paul did not simply say God is able to do above what we ask. He goes further. He says "exceeding abundantly above." The Holy Spirit is emphasizing that there is no language sufficient to describe the greatness of God's ability. He is able to surpass your expectations, exceed your prayers, and accomplish more than your mind can comprehend.

But there is another truth hidden in this verse that we often overlook. It says God works "according to the power that worketh in us." The power that raises the standard of your life is not merely around you—it is within you. The Holy Spirit, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in every believer. Therefore, you are not waiting for power to come from heaven; you are learning to yield to the power that already resides within you.

Perhaps your dreams seem impossible. Maybe your resources are limited, your opportunities appear few, or your circumstances seem unchanged. Remember, God has never been restricted by human limitations. He specializes in doing what man calls impossible.

If He did all of that, what makes you think your situation is beyond His ability?

Child of God, stop measuring God's by your present situation. Instead, measure your circumstances by the greatness of your God. Raise your expectation. Stretch your faith. Believe for more—not because you deserve it, but because He is able.

This month, expect God's favor to exceed your expectations. In Jesus name. Amen!

Faith-Filled Confession

I serve the God who does exceeding abundantly above all I can ask or imagine. My faith is anchored in His limitless power and unfailing Word. I refuse to limit God with fear, doubt, or human reasoning. The power of the Holy Spirit is at work within me, producing supernatural results. I declare that doors are opening, favor is increasing, grace is multiplying, and every promise of God is coming to pass in my life. My expectations are rising because my God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
