ENCOURAGE THE MIRACULOUS LIFESTYLE FOR SOUL WINNING

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; in My name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” (Mark 16:17-18).

You don't have to be a “minister” to manifest the signs listed in Mark 16:17-18, you just need to be a Christian. The miraculous nature of God has already been embedded in your spirit; so that's who you are! A police officer with the miraculous, a nurse with the miraculous, a teacher with the miraculous, a physician with the miraculous, an insurance agent with the miraculous, a chef with the miraculous, a stay at home mom with the miraculous. Whatever you do, it ought to be smeared with the miraculous, because that’s who you are! Imagine each one of us doing what we do with this consciousness. I tell you one thing; it will cause people to glorify God everywhere. 

Brethren, we don't have an option. We have been commanded to operate in the miraculous. Living without notable signs and victory is not the Christian life. You must not accept a life that does not depict the glory of the Word. It’s unrighteous to live without the manifestation of the glory of the Word. You may have lived that way for a long time without ever knowing that such lifestyle contradicts the gospel of Christ. Acts 17:30 says, “Though God has overlooked those times of ignorance, He now commands everyone everywhere to repent.” In other words, He is calling all of His children to awake to the manifestations of miracles. The Spirit of God is saying, “Refuse to live the ordinary life; refuse to conform to the patterns of this world. Do not accept defeat and misery as part of life for the life in you is not susceptible to failure and darkness. You are a divine creation, superior to this world and darkness.” Hallelujah!

Most people do not know that it’s our responsibility to cultivate or encourage the miraculous. I'll give you two examples where God's people played their part in encouraging the miraculous. In 2 Kings 3:15,  Elisha, the man of God, said, “Now bring me someone who can play the harp." While the harp was being played, the power of the Lord came upon Elisha.” In another instance, “While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, separate now for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them” (Acts 13:2). In both instances, they triggered the miraculous and then the Spirit spoke. In the first instance, Elisha knew that playing the harp would stir the anointing, so he asked for one. This tells us that anointed music can stir the anointing for the miraculous. If you would learn to saturate your mind and your surroundings with faith-filled music, miracles will never cease with you. This is why those who are true and consistent worshipers always have big testimonies And the Holy Spirit uses their testimonies to lead others to Jesus Christ.

So, I encourage you to cultivate habits that encourage miracles in your life by maintaining an effective worship and prayer life.

Faith-Filled Confession:

My life is a manifestation of the Word of God. I encourage the atmosphere for miracles through my worship and prayers. Everything I do, and all that I am reflects the miraculous power of God working in me and through me. My life is an arena for signs and wonders to the glory of God. Hallelujah!

Prayer Points

1. Declare that our brethren are guided by the wisdom of God in their associations, jobs, business ventures and partnerships. They are constantly led by the Spirit of God and guided away from error and poor/bad decisions that may incur losses or negative effects on them.( Isa 30:21; Isa 58:11, 1 Cor 1:30)

2. Pray for our brethren, that more than ever, they will stay focused on Christ and the things of the Kingdom, and they will not be distracted by the transient pleasures of this world.

   
   

3. Pray for our brethren, that an indescribable hunger for souls is stirred in them continually causing them to preach the word everywhere with boldness, resulting to the salvation of more souls and that the Word of the Lord may increase and bear more fruits in them (Acts 4:29-31)
