EMBRACE THE PRAYING YOU

11/16/2023

"Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]" (James 5:16 AMP).

A wise man once said, "Those who know God the best are the richest and most powerful in prayer." Why? Because prayer leads to meaningful encounters, these encounters lead to revelations, revelations lead to convictions, convictions lead to trust, and trust ultimately leads to faith, and without faith, it's impossible to please God.

The key here is that faith prays; unbelief does not, and Satan dreads the praying you. Understand that prayer serves as a powerful deterrent against both sin and the forces of darkness. For example, it is impossible to gossip about the people we pray for. This is why the enemy doesn't mind if you do everything else except pray. Jesus said, "...men ought always to pray, and not to faint" (Luke 18:1). This means we should pray consistently, not just when we feel like it. There will be moments when the inner urge to pray is strong, but the key is to pray whether that feeling is present or not.

Prayer offers a valuable benefit—it desensitizes you from the influence of the world and acts as a shield for your soul against the dominance of worldly desires. Without heartfelt, spiritual prayer, you may unconsciously adopt the ways of the world, and your life might lack the radiant presence of the Spirit. Jesus' instruction to always pray suggests that the grace and anointing not only to pray but also to receive answers are mighty upon us.

The apostle, by the revelation of the Spirit, said, "...the earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]" (James 5:16 AMP). This was a clarion call to the ministry of prayer. Child of God, you must prioritize prayer every day and be confident, knowing that prayer is not a discourse but a form of life—the life with God.

So, I urge you to submit your will and emotion to the Spirit of prayer and maximize the glory of His presence today.

Have a wonderful day, and pray intermittently all day long.

God bless you!

Faith Filled Confession:

Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus, I refuse to be anxious about anything; I refuse to patronize failure, defeat, and sickness. I'm alive to divine wisdom, health, and success. I'm alive to the dominion of the Holy Ghost at work within me. I'm alive to soul-winning, righteousness, God's divine favor, increase, purpose, and destiny. I am alive to the abiding victory in Christ Jesus and victorious over hell and death, in Jesus' name. Amen.
