DOUBLE HONOR, NO SHAME

6/16/2025

“Instead of shame and dishonor, you will enjoy a double share of honor. You will possess a double portion of prosperity in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.” Isaiah 61:7 (NLT)

In Numbers 23:8, the prophet Balaam asked, “How can I curse those whom God has not cursed? How can I denounce those whom the Lord has not denounced?” He recognized a powerful truth: when God declares a blessing, it cannot be undone. To reverse what God has spoken, one would have to move God out of His place and that is impossible.

Our God has no equal. As the apostle John recorded in Revelation 5:2–3, “And I saw a strong angel, proclaiming with a loud voice, ‘Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals?’ But no one in heaven, or on the earth, or under the earth was able to open the scroll or look inside it.” Only Jesus, the Lamb of God, is worthy. He alone has all authority.

So when God blesses you, that blessing stands forever. Balaam, though pressured to curse Israel, could not; instead, every attempt to curse them was turned into greater blessing. As Deuteronomy 23:5 says, “The Lord your God would not listen to Balaam but turned the curse into a blessing for you, because the Lord your God loves you.”

This is your reality, saints! Jesus affirms it again in Revelation 3:8, “I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut.” That eternal door of grace is open over your life, and no man, no devil, no situation can close it.

Whatever rises against you will only serve to lift you higher. In Genesis 12:3, God told Abram, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” And according to Galatians 3:14, the blessing of Abraham now rests on you. That means:

  • Anyone who favors you, God will favor.

  • Anyone who attempts to shame you, God will honor you.

  • Every attack or negative word will be converted into a divine advantage.

So declare boldly today: “I will not be put to shame!” As Isaiah 61:7 declares, “Instead of shame and dishonor, you will enjoy a double share of honor…” Saints, this is your portion—not just in the sweet by and by, but right now. Expect amplified grace and multiplied favor this month. Refuse to live under fear, offense, or bitterness.

Walk in love. Refuse to argue. Don’t get entangled in petty quarrels. Why? Because you’ve been positioned in a realm of grace where nothing can work against you. If someone insults you, rejoice because God will turn it into promotion. If someone tries to harm you, celebrate because He will use it to elevate you.

You are too blessed to be cursed. Too lifted to be buried. Too favored to be ignored.

So lift your voice and shout , “GLORY!”

Faith-Filled Confession:

I am blessed of God. The blessing has distinguished me and qualified me for favor and double honor. I will not know shame, for the Father of Glory has said: “Instead of shame and dishonor, you will enjoy a double share of honor. ”I receive it by faith! I walk in honor. I walk in increase. I walk in joy and victory, In Jesus’ name. Amen! I walk in joy and victory. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
