“Instead of shame and dishonor, you will enjoy a double share of honor. You will possess a double portion of prosperity in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours” (Isaiah 61:7).
When God speaks, His Word becomes law—unchangeable, irreversible, and eternal. There is no force in existence that can successfully overturn what God has established. In Numbers 23:8, Balaam the prophet said, “How can I curse those whom God has not cursed? How can I denounce those whom the Lord has not denounced?” The prophet, Balaam, saw it as an impossible task to undo what the Lord had already done. Because when God does anything, He stands by it, and for anyone to undo what He has done, that person would first have to move God out of His place. And we all know that the King of Glory has no equal; there is none that can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Him. In Revelation 5:2-3, John said, “And I saw a strong angel proclaiming in a loud voice, ‘Who is worthy to open the scroll, and to break its seals?’ And no one in heaven, nor upon the earth, nor under the earth, was able to open the scroll, nor to see it.” No one was worthy to fulfill such a task but the One who has declared April to be your month of honor. His name is Jesus Christ. He is the Almighty God.
To paraphrase, the prophet Balaam more or less said, “Even if I choose to curse or denounce those whom the Lord has not cursed or denounced, my words would be turned into more blessings and favor for them; whatever I do, can only be to their advantage.” Deuteronomy 23:5 says, “Nevertheless the Lord thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the Lord thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the Lord thy God loved thee.” That is to say, that the words of the Lord and His work stand forever. Jesus reiterated this to John in Revelation 3:8, when He said, “...I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut…”
Saints, that eternal door of grace remains open. No man, circumstance, or devil can undo this grace of recognition that is upon you, and any attempt, by any entity, to undo or undermine this grace will only make you greater. God has positioned you in such a way that nothing can be to your disadvantage. God said to Abram in Genesis 12:3, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse, and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” And according to Galatians 3:14, the Abrahamic blessing rests on you today. Whatever blessing was pronounced on Abraham then, is yours today. Anyone that shows you favor, the Lord will also show favor. And anyone that tries to bring you shame will be shamed and God will use whatever they throw at you to make you even greater.
Isaiah 61:7 says, “Instead of shame and dishonor, you will enjoy a double share of honor. You will possess a double portion of prosperity in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.” Saints, get ready to experience amplified grace for the rest of the month. And so, I urge you to walk in love. Don’t fuss with anyone. Stay conscious of the truth that you have been placed in this position of favor and recognition where nothing can be to your disadvantage. If someone says something mean or rude to you, rejoice before God because He has turned it into a blessing for you. Hallelujah!
Shout Glory!
Faith Filled Confession:
I am blessed and highly favored of God. I walk in double honor, double increase, and divine distinction. Every situation works in my favor, and nothing can be to my disadvantage. Shame is far from me, and everlasting joy is my portion. I receive and walk in double honor, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
