DON'T BE ANXIOUS
9/15/2026
"Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don't try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he's the one who will keep you on track. Don't assume that you know it all." — Proverbs 3:5–6 MSG
Child of God, because you have the Holy Spirit living in you, you have no reason to be anxious about anything. You don't have to worry about your children, your spouse, your finances, your job, your home, your health, or your future. The Holy Spirit is in you to help you live in the reality of God's Word. He is your Comforter, your Helper, and your Guide.
The Holy Spirit unveils the Word of God to you and helps you understand the glorious life you have received in Christ. This is why Apostle Paul prayed for the saints at Ephesus, “Open the eyes of their hearts, and let the light of Your truth flood in…”(Ephesians 1:18 VOICE). He wanted them to see and understand what God had already made available to them in Christ.
Jesus said, “My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life” (John 10:10 NLT). This is the life Christ has given you. It is not a life controlled by fear, worry, and anxiety. When Martha became overwhelmed with the many things demanding her attention, Jesus said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things” (Luke 10:41).
Perhaps that is you today. You have been thinking about your family, your business, your job, your finances, your housing situation, or your health. But the Holy Spirit is saying to you: “Relax”
Philippians 4:6 says, “Don't be anxious about things; instead, pray. Pray about everything. He longs to hear your requests, so talk to God about your needs and be thankful for what has come” (VOICE). Notice the divine instruction: Don't be anxious; pray. When something concerns you, don't allow it to consume your thoughts. Take it to the Lord.
You don't have to know how everything will work out. You don't have to understand every detail. You don't have to have all the answers. You have the Holy Spirit. He knows what you don't know. He sees what you cannot see. He can lead you where your natural understanding cannot take you.
So, concerning that matter that has been weighing heavily on your heart, release it to Him. You have the Holy Spirit; therefore, do not be anxious.
You are blessed.
Faith-Filled Confession
I refuse anxiety, fear, and worry. I trust God with all my heart and refuse to lean on my own understanding. I have the Holy Spirit in me; He is my Comforter, Helper, and Guide. I cast every care upon the Lord and receive His peace. I am led by the Spirit and established in the Word. I have a rich and satisfying life, and I live every day in the peace, victory, and rest of the Holy Ghost. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
