DO IT BEFORE MEN

8/9/2025

“Whosoever therefore shall confess Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father which is in heaven”(Matthew 10:32 KJV).

Confessing Christ must be more than repeating religious clichés like “I’m blood-washed.” It is the open, deliberate acknowledgment of His Lordship over heaven, earth, and hell. It means taking His Word as your final authority and viewing life through the lens of His finished work—standing firm and uncompromising in Christ regardless of time or place.

This confession must be backed by the demonstration of the Spirit—tangible miracles and victories wrought in His name. Simply saying “Jesus” is not enough; otherwise, the sons of Sceva would have succeeded (Acts 19:11-20). Even demons believe and tremble (James 2:19), but they are not saved.

One dangerous misconception among believers is the misuse of the phrase, “Salvation is personal.” Yes, no one can receive eternal life or live your life for you. Yes, you alone will give account before God. But this truth is no license to live in a way that hides Christ’s victory. Christianity is not a private belief—it is a public display of the triumph of Christ over sin, satan, death, and the world. Your life is a message from heaven to earth, a living testimony of righteousness, victory, and prosperity.

The word confess in Matthew 10:32 comes from the Greek homologeó—to profess, acknowledge, agree, praise, publicly declare, or celebrate in alignment with another’s endorsement. To confess Christ means more than telling people you are saved—it means His Word has become your word, His thoughts your thoughts, and His will your will, expressed without shame or compromise.

And here’s the sobering part: Whatever you confess before men, He will confess before the Father. If you speak weakness, sickness, defeat, or poverty, that’s what heaven endorses. If your actions deny Him or contradict His Word, He will deny you before the Father (Matthew 10:33). Numbers 14:28 says, “As surely as I live, declares the LORD, I will do to you the very thing I heard you say.”

So, do your words and actions reflect Christ’s victory or your frustration? Do they declare freedom from sin or bondage to it? Do they reveal lack or the abundant life He purchased? Remember, your public confession shapes heaven’s agreement over your life.

Determine today to only speak and act in agreement with His Word—everywhere, every time. Make the Word your priority and your lifestyle.

Faith-Filled Confession:

I refuse to be ashamed of Jesus, His Word, or His works. I speak boldly in His name. I confess that the health, strength, and wisdom of Christ are at work in me right now. I declare I live in wealth, walk in a sound mind, and operate in Christ’s dominion over satan, hell, and death. Victory is mine always! Hallelujah!
