DIVINE HEALTH IS YOUR RIGHT

But He answered and said, "It is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the little dogs" (Matthew 15:26).

A Gentile woman came to Jesus to ask for help with her daughter and was relentless in her asking (Matthew 15:22-28). The Bible tells us that her daughter was possessed by a devil, which lets us know that not all sicknesses have natural origins. Certain sicknesses are caused by demons, which is why as children of God, we must be discerning, especially when certain symptoms persist.

The Master's response to the woman was awe-striking. Even though His overall mission included Gentiles, that phase had not yet come, and so He said in Matthew 15:24, "...I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." In essence, Jesus was saying to the woman that the help she was requesting was someone else's birthright. In any case, the woman's faith got the miracle healing she required for her daughter. However, had she been a member of the House of Israel at the time, healing would have been her right. And we see this in Luke 13:16, where Jesus said concerning another woman, "So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound—think of it—for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?" (Luke 13:16) In this encounter, healing was the woman's right and all that was expected of her was to enforce that which was rightfully hers. 

In the same light, as God's children today, healing belongs to us, even more than it did in the context of the Jews in Jesus' day. Yet, it doesn't mean that we may not occasionally experience lying symptoms. Lying symptoms often indicate demonic activity, and we deal with them using God's Word. Acts 20:32 says, "So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the Word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified." 

Health and healing are part of this inheritance, so refuse to entertain lying symptoms in your body. Use the name of Jesus, commanding them to be gone. Meditate on what the Lord has said about health and healing until you are so saturated with healing scriptures. And keep out every piece of information that contradicts God's Word concerning your health.

Faith-Filled Confession

I am the healed of God and a member of Christ's body--His flesh and His bones. No sickness can withstand the divine life that is bubbling underneath this suit of flesh. I am God's vial of health to the nations. All who come in contact with me are healed by the power of God. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Prayer Point for Today

"For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea" (Habakkuk 2:14)

"And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it." (Isaiah 2:2).

Pray against fear, violence, wickedness, and all forms of injustice, declaring peace, progress, stability, and prosperity for the furtherance of God's kingdom. 

Pray that all malicious and antichrist policies and laws crafted to hinder the gospel are voided and that the name of the Lord is glorified. Amen.
