"Yet I will exult in the LORD, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation" (Habakkuk 3:18).
Living by faith is not for the ordinary man. It takes one who has lost his or her mind to live by faith. For starters, insanity is praising God in the face of a daunting situation. Think of it this way, how can someone be excited upon hearing that they lost their job without a replacement job in sight? Only mad people behave that way. Again, how can someone count it all joy when there is an "insurmountable" mountain before them? Unless they are insane. Child of God, these things are not supposed to make sense. They are divine moments for promotion and the manifestation of God's glory. Praise God!
Saint, no adversity is designed to put you under. God said in Malachi 3:6, "For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed." In other words, if God says you are not consumed or overcome because of His irrevocable love and victory that was wrought for you n Christ Jesus, then you must believe it and live in it.
You may not know this, but God is not as concerned as many think when it comes to us facing adversity. In fact, God laughs and rejoices when these things happen to us because of the overwhelming victory He has given us in Christ Jesus. Psalm 2:1-4 says, "Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against the Lord and against his anointed, saying, "Let us break their chains and throw off their shackles." The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them." God laughs not because He wants us to be unhappy and defeated. He rejoices over us in such moments because, in moments like that, our true grit is revealed, and the depth of His glory in our lives is unleashed. How else can those around you know that the Greater One lives inside you?
Joshua 5:1 says, "Now when all the Amorite kings west of the Jordan and all the Canaanite kings along the coast heard how the Lord had dried up the Jordan before the Israelites until they had crossed over, their hearts melted in fear, and they no longer had the courage to face the Israelites."
To the children of Israel, Jordan was an obstacle, an unpleasant situation that could end the plan of God for their lives. However, to God and the men of the Spirit that walked among the children of Israel, it was an opportunity to shine forth the glory of God. And when God moved on their behalf, fear came upon their enemies.
Listen, child God; you are not going to win. You have already won! Why fret when the Greater One lives in you? Why panic like those who do not know God or are without help? If you recognize a problem or challenge, rejoice! Because it is time to testify! See every challenge as an opportunity to manifest God's glory.
Hallelujah!
Faith Filled Confession:
I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord and be glad. For my eyes has seen the goodness of the Lord this day. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together. Hallelujah.
Prayer Point for Today
Make confessions of God's goodness, grace, and glory. Declare prophetic words concerning the victory of the Church and the spread of the gospel around the world.
Isaiah 55:11-12 says, "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands."
