DELIGHT YOURSELF IN THE LORD BY CALLING TO MIND THE MIRACLES OF GOD

08/31/2023

“Delight yourself in the LORD, And He will give you the desires and petitions of your heart.” (Psalm 37:4)

One sure way to delight yourself in the Lord is to call to mind His miracles and just begin to dance and praise Him for the things He has done. A few months ago, a dear deacon in one of our churches was nearly crushed by a truck on an Interstate highway but God said no. And as that dear man of God testified in one of our services, the impact of what the Lord did, not just for him and his family but for us who benefit from fellowshipping together with him was palpable. And even, now we should be moved to revisit that event of God’s rescue and just give God praise.

There was another dear sister who testified about being diligent with our times of fasting and prayer, and how God came through for her with respect to her desire for a scholarship. The intriguing part of that testimony was that she was awarded her desired scholarship on a Sunday. The miracle could not wait till Monday. Think about it for a moment. Our God is gracious.

Now, I don’t know the specific details of testimonies about the miracles the Lord has done for you or for others around you but what I know is as you begin to call to mind these miracles and celebrate them, a seismic shift will take place in your affairs.

Maybe you desire to break a habit, get out of debt or end an addictive unwholesome relationship. Maybe you want to discover your purpose or take your business into the next level of financial success. Maybe you desire a loved one’s salvation or healing. Brothers and sisters, delight yourself in the LORD for the miracles He has done. God's end of the bargain is that He will grant you the desires of your heart.

There’s wholeness in the air today. Receive it by faith because there’s more in store for you to come.

Have an excellent day!
